  • Cozy one bedroom house just minutes from beautiful Lake Oahe. Several public boat ramps and cleaning stations within minutes. Located just 15 minutes north of the Capitol city of South Dakota. There are 2 resorts nearby offering meals, bait, and any other amenities a person might need. The driveway of the property is large enough to leave your boat hooked to your vehicle with outdoor outlets to charge overnight.

Comfortable for a long weekend!

We stayed in Jason’s house for a long weekend. The home was clean and very well stocked, quiet and comfortable. Highly recommend if you’re spending some time on Oahe or hunting. Our kids loved the wooden ducks and taxidermy! Thanks for the nice place to visit!

Convenient and Peaceful

I booked this for a hunting trip, the location was perfect and convenient to the property I was hunting as well as quick trips to Pierre for supplies. The place is clean and has tons of character! Communication with the owner was easy and a pleasure. I hope to have the opportunity to stay again.

Exactly what we needed

Three day fishing trip during very hot temps. AC worked great and was a very welcome refuge. This place is well stocked with a lot of little extras in the kitchen, bathroom, etc. Driveway accommodates boats and vehicles well. Very simple check-in/check-out process. Will definitely stay here again if it’s available when we need it!

Stuffed

Our three night stay was comfortable and unique. We marveled at all of the various wildlife mounts and the nicely decorated interior. Everything we could’ve wanted was provided. Loved the coffee pot especially. Had a struggle with the television as we’re not familiar with this type of streaming. We used Wi-Fi to get nfl.com on my IPad to see the games. All in all an excellent property!
