The bathroom shelf was tilted so things kept falling off. The service was incredible. I did like the experience of staying in a historical, beautiful hotel. "

"Moxy is convenient, modern and reasonable. Rooms are comfortable but it’s not a 4 star destination. It’s affordable and located adjacent to downtown, the boardwalk, Citadel etc. It also has a small restaurant with happy hour and decent breakfast, lunch, and dinner—though there are lots of great restaurants in Halifax to check out. "

"Lounge chair under cushion was full of chip crumbs, shower/tub did not drain (good foot bath while showering), “toilet paper” was so thin, when I used it to blow my nose, I blew THROUGH the tissue - had to use MANY MANY layers to wipe. Actually asked concierge at Marriott (waterfront) for a roll of REAL toilet paper. Not bad for 250$/night "

"Booked a stay at Cameo Suites in Halifax through Expedia and had a serious issue with room access and safety. When we arrived around 6 PM and entered our assigned room using the provided door code, we found another group already inside with their belongings. They showed us they also had a booking and a working code for the same room. We contacted the property immediately. The manager explained that door codes are sent out in advance and confirmed that codes are NOT CHANGED between guests,...

"I appreciate this is an aging hotel and it's been 5 years since I stayed here previously but absolutely nothing has been done and it was showing it's age 5 years ago. There is a reason why the hotel was de-branded by Delta. On a positive note the location is great and I HOPE they do re-invest this property and make it great again because it can be. "
