    Situado en el corazón del Parque Nacional North York Moors, en la granja en funcionamiento del propietario, es un remanso de paz y tranquilidad, rodeado de prados y bosques, senderos y caminos de herradura. El pueblo de Lockton (una milla) tiene un salón de té con las posadas locales que sirven buenas comidas. Pickering (seis millas) tiene una gran variedad de tiendas, restaurantes y pubs y alberga el Steam Preservation Railway. El antiguo puerto pesquero de Whitby se encuentra a 15 minutos en automóvil, con Scarborough, Filey y York a poca distancia en automóvil.


    Planta baja:
    Con calefacción central de gasoil y que comprende:
    Sala de estar: con TV con canales Freeview, DVD, radio / reproductor de CD, puerta al patio y jardín.
    Dos pasos hacia ... Cocina / comedor: con piso de baldosas, vitrocerámica y horno eléctrico, microondas, nevera, congelador, lavavajillas, lavadora, plancha / tabla de planchar y puerta a la zona de estar con grava adicional.
    Dormitorio 1: con dos camas individuales.

    Dormitorio 1: con cama king size.
    Baño: con ducha sobre bañera, inodoro y lavabo.


    Calefacción central de gasoil y toda la electricidad incluida. Ropa de cama y toallas disponibles. Cuna de viaje y trona disponibles bajo petición. Patio y jardín con mesa, sillas y barbacoa. Tienda de bicicletas con llave. Estacionamiento privado para dos autos.

    Se solicita a los turistas que lleguen después de las 3.30 p. M. Del día de llegada y que desalojen la propiedad antes de las 10. 00 a. M. Del día de salida, a menos que se acuerde lo contrario con el propietario. Indicaciones: - Siga la A169 hacia el norte desde Pickering hacia Whitby. Viaje 4 millas, pase el pub Fox & Rabbit, después de 1 milla pase el desvío de Lockton, continúe por 300 yardas y luego gire a la derecha. Viaje 1 milla por Pasture Lane, granero a la derecha, y Mount Pleasant Farm es la segunda granja a media milla por el camino.

We try much enjoyed our stay at Pasture Barn, the cottage was lovely and cozy and in such a peaceful location, perfect for getting away from it all and enjoying the countryside. There are some very pleasant little towns nearby and the coast is less than a 30 minute drive away.

Pasture Barn is perfect if you want an escape to an idyllic location with just the local wildlife for company. The cottage and surroundings are absolutely beautiful. If you do want to venture out, there are many interesting places to visit in North Yorkshire within easy reach by car. We definitely hope to return.

Pasture Barn, was just what we needed - a relaxing break, in beautiful countryside. It is spacious, very clean and very much a home from home. We received a lovely welcome gift plus a pint of milk in the fridge, so we didn't have to drive to the shop straight away to make a brew. The owners were friendly and you knew that they would be at there if needed. Great location to explore North Yorkshire, from Pickering to the beautiful beach at Sandsend and much more in this beautiful county. When we had a lot of snow ,so we snuggled in Pasture Barn and took advantage of the DVD player and reading books, magazines. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

A very nice cottage that has all you need in the kitchen.

A very nice cottage that has all you need in the kitchen. There is only an upstairs toilet with bath and overbath shower. One bedroom is downstairs , and the other is upstairs. The upstairs bedroom has windows that are in a low position, so you have to literally lie down to view outside,the otrher window is too high and you have to stand on your toes to look out. The downstairs living area is open plan. There are doors to exit to the side of the property,and from the kitchen area. Could not use the car port as it is made from an old barn and swallows were nesting in it,so they were making a bit of a mess,that would have been all over the car. There is a need for more information on using the waste bins,and the washing machine etc. The owners who live nearby on the farm are very pleasent. They have internet and Wi -Fi on the farm, but none at the rental property which is a must have in this day and age,my grandaughter was lost without it,and the TV had only basic programmes. Finding places to eat is easy, one is nearby, but all the places we tried to get a meal were by booking only,and reserved. Another bad point for tourist in the area generally is that the local authorities have high cost car parking charges,and that goes for disabled drivers using the parking areas,they still have to pay. I have even seen charges in lay byes.
