"The hotel clearly needs improvement- the bathroom is not a bathroom. The shower is old and impossible to manage, the door doesnt close and the TV doesnt work. When you are on vacation what you want is something that eases your experience. We left the hotel the next day and didnt ask for a refund. We booked 4 nights. "This hotel had all the basic stuff you needed, and was clean, but something was just off about it. I am not sure about the atmosphere and perhaps because my sliding door wouldn't close all the way and I needed a staff to close it EVERY TIME but it was just OK. There was a big family party on the second night we stayed so we did have to listen to people howling (singing)until quite late. It was a but secluded and hard to get to at night time with all the surrounding ditches. "

"Room initially given to us hadn’t been cleaned. Corrected the mistake quickly. Rooms are huge, clean. Gym was just on the first floor area and no aircon so limited how long you could exercise. "The staff at The Columns are extremely nice and helpful. The included breakfast has many nice options and is well-prepared. We had both a double room on the first floor and a balcony room on second floor in our party, and we much preferred the first floor. It’s more spacious, better laid out, and has high ceilings.
