The hotel rooms are not as shown in the pictures. The beds are much smaller than they appear in the photos and as described. There is no real balcony. What they call a balcony is just a tiny gap where the air-conditioning units are placed.
They also do not provide the room key as they should. The key they are asking a 1,000 baht deposit for is not an extra or spare key — it is the only room key that should normally be given to guests.
In addition, we stayed on the fifth floor, which is one floor below the pool level. The entire corridor and the rooms smelled strongly of dampness and mold. We had to stay with that smell all night. They refused to change our room. Their response was basically that they already know about the smell and that we should just manage with it.
This level of dampness and mold is also harmful to health, which makes the situation even more unacceptable.
We had to complete the night there out of necessity. The staff were also extremely unfriendly. None of them were welcoming, and they did not respond politely or helpfully.
