The staff was....distant. I want to give this place 5 stars, I really do...but...I can't...Little things. I requested a late checkout. This is a huge bone for me. They gave me the same BS about being completely full which was an outright lie. If that place was a third full I'd be amazed. Finally they agreed to a 1 hour extension but came to take the room 1/2 hour earlier. Then they stood there while one of the bell boys went to the room to get the key I left there guarding me like I was going to steal the f&$king key. It's wonky anyway, Not a key card like most modern places, but I had told them I left it in the room. But I was guarded like a thief until the guy came back. There were no towels at the pool and beach area. They leave them in the room but don't tell you that. The chaise lounges on the beach (which due to the fact that the place was mostly empty, were available) but were all in the shade and were incredibly heavy to move. The grounds, pool, beach are fabulous, but the rooms are basically upgraded Motel 6. And lastly, the place is incredibly far away from anything really going on in Phukett. So traveling back and forth is expensive and inconvenient. There's a nice little beach town Nai thon just down the road, but it's little. I wouldn't recommend staying there if you want to see Phukett.
