Our stay raised serious concerns regarding professionalism and guest treatment.
We rented a scooter directly through the hotel. Later, we were contacted via WhatsApp and informed that the scooter allegedly had a puncture and needed to be returned immediately. We had already driven approximately 20 km without any issue, and no puncture was observed. The communication was unclear and caused unnecessary stress.
At checkout, although the deposit was ultimately refunded, the manner in which the situation was handled was uncomfortable. After completing checkout and settling all dues, a staff member asked the receptionist whether we were “allowed to leave,” which we found inappropriate and unsettling.
In addition, we observed a noticeable difference in how guests were treated at the front desk. During our stay, the front staff appeared dismissive and rude toward us as Indian guests, while other guests were welcomed politely and with smiles. This inconsistency in behavior made us feel unwelcome.
Based on our experience, we recommend that future guests exercise caution, particularly when renting scooters through the hotel, and consider using independent rental services. Clear communication, professionalism, and respectful treatment of all guests were lacking in our case.
