You will find a serene peaceful setting that has the grandiose feeling of a magnificant property that is nestled amongst beautiful desert, mountains as well as a newly remodeled large infinity pool and hot tub. The pool is NOT heated October thru April the However can be for an additionalother months our beautiful valley of the sun heats the pool. Gorgeous landscaping and a majestic Pinnacle Peak mountain range. Enjoy a putting green with separate chipper. Spectacular sunsets outside your own private charming 800 square foot casita on 3.5 acres. King bed with on suite. Within a short distance is fabulous hiking, biking , restaurants, entertainment and shopping to enhance your stay. Very close to Barrett Jackson, The Phoenix open and of course spring training and the world famous Arabian Horse show. From January thru May there are many exciting events happening in North Scottsdale. Come enjoy the beautiful desert in the winter, spring, summer and fall!!

So you take a wonderful spacious home set in beautiful North Scottsdale with botanical garden like landscaping and add two gracious hosts (Gina and Mark) who are totally familiar with the area and know some great and exciting things to do and places to go, mix them together, and you’ve got a perfect spot for your vacation

Disappointing. In our opinion the description was misleading. ‘About this home’ states that it is an ‘Entire Home’. The property is a staff /guests annexe of the owner’s house which they occupy, integrally the same building with the guest/staff accommodation on the side of the owner’s home. The guest’s property does not have its own external door. Guests are only allowed to access the property through the garage. Garage is described as ‘private’ but contains the owner’s boat etc. & the owner just texts a ‘heads up’ when she intends to enter. It was unclear on the website whether the pool is for the sole use for the guests, but the pool is directly in front of, & accessed only via, & overlooked by, the owner/occupier’s large external /eating patio area. A security camera overlooks the pool & – as the owner pointed out, is monitored 24/7. Poor Guest Security. The owner said the lock on the door into the property from the garage should not be locked as it was defective - easy to get locked out. On the website ‘Kitchen’ is clearly shown under ‘Rooms & Beds Details’ & again in both the ‘Amenities’ & ‘Spaces’ sections. There is NO kitchen, only kitchenette in the living room. The ‘Amenities’ section shows an ‘oven’, separately listed from the microwave. There is no oven. A stovetop was listed under ‘Amenities’. When raised the owner offered a plug in electric cooking ring.

Stunning property with amazing amenities!

We really enjoyed our stay at this gorgeous and peaceful property that has mountain views in every direction. The guest house was lovely and we especially appreciated sunrise birdwatching out the large bedroom window, afternoons by the infinity pool, and exceptional sunsets from the upper patio. There are shops and restaurants nearby but you won't want to leave! Thanks, Gina and Mark for sharing your exceptional home!

Peaceful and serene property

Stunning property shared with the owners who were very respectful to our privacy. We enjoyed bird watching in the morning out of our bedroom and outdoor morning coffee. Extremely safe and quiet neighborhood. The owner shares her personal phone number and checks in often. Checkout was easy with little to no requests like other VRBOs. Thank you for our luxurious stay, Gina and Mark!

Wonderful environment to relax

Property was stunning with fabulous landscaping and views. We found it thoroughly relaxing and enjoyable. Location was perfect with close proximity to hiking, golfing and an amazing array of restaurants and shopping. Hosts were very hospitable and helpful. We highly recommend this property!

Sweet dreams are made of these

We wanted to create a truly unique experience for our first visit to Scottsdale. How lucky we were to find the casita at Chateau d'Amour!! The Riley's are exceptional hosts who made us feel immediately welcome to share and explore their gorgeous property. We were free to use the pool,spa and other outdoor areas as much as we liked. There was even streaming music outside. We spent our days exploring Scottsdale and even went to the Grand Canyon! All while relaxing in the traditional elegance of our private lodging. It was like being on at exclusive resort property, minus all the other guests!! The highlight of our stay was the rooftop, where the sunset views over the mountains and the glitter of the city lights left us speechless. We wanted for nothing: the area is loaded with shopping, dining,hiking,sightseeing and more. Dont book anywhere else,this property is too spectacular to miss! their

Extreme heat but extreme beauty

We made a trip to Scottsdale to check out different areas to potentially retire to Gina and Mark’s place is truly beautiful and the set up is perfect even though it was very warm we had beautiful mornings checking out all the birds on the cool birdfeeder Mark had installed. The grounds are so beautiful and meticulously cared for the setting is perfect. The only thing I might mention is, if you have any more mobility issues, there are a lot of stone surfaces that could be a trip hazard, but they have marked those. Gina also gave us recommendations for places to eat and our last night we ate at Maestros. It was fantastic!

Beautiful Setting & Views

We made a quick four-night trip to Scottsdale to celebrate our anniversary and we could not be happier with our decision to stay here. Mark & Gina were gracious hosts and have a beautiful home. The location and accommodations are wonderful. Our favorite thing about this place are the views!! Stunning views of the mountains during the day and then of the city at night - simply amazing.

Wowza!

This is as close to a royal residence as we will ever get! Absolutely stunning and we couldn't believe our good luck choosing this as our "home" for one week on our first visit to Arizona. Mark and Gina are almost too nice to be true. They immediately treated us strangers like family or old friends. Everything was unforgettable; we hated to leave. Thank you SO MUCH for sharing all the bounty you have!!!!
