The host did not provide any arrival details and that set the tone for this rental experience. We had to contact VRBO and VRBO had to contact the host to get the property access information. We have stayed at quite a few rentals in the past and the host usually reaches out as soon as we book the property. We normally get detailed arrival information that includes instructions to access to the property at least a day before but no later than first thing on the day of arrival. I guess this host is inexperienced.The property is pretty drab and gloomy. Lot of weird building noises and noise from upstairs neighbors. There is also a lot of dirt on the walls from the air conditioner vents. This is due to a filthy dirty A/C filter that had not been changed in a very long time. We hope we don’t get sick from this dirty A/C system. We had to limit our time in the unit ad our asthma was triggered by the dirty air.We will not stay at this property again especially since there is plenty of inventory in Old Town Scottsdale. We do not recommend this property.See attached photos.
