  • Just beyond Phoenix in the Northwest Valley, Sonoran Mountain Ranch is an enviable location filled with lifestyle amenities. Almost enough to take your breath away. Here, where the road ends and the tranquility begins, there is space to relax, and room to breathe, all set in a gated community with a luxurious pool & hot tub, surrounded by winding trails, neighborhood parks, and magnificent views of the West Wing mountain! This spacious custom-built home is uniquely furnished to provide you with every luxury imaginable, more personalized than a hotel, and a great way to feel like a local, including a large flat-screen tv with online apps access, fast wifi, putting green, gas fireplace and new furniture throughout.

    This home includes 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, 1 half bathroom, a living room and a large formal dining room that accommodates 6 comfortably. The master is on the main floor, with two bedrooms upstairs. The master bedroom has a king size bed (very comfortable) and a flat screen tv which is ideal for watching the morning news while you prepare for your day. The master bath is spacious with double vanities and a large walk-in closet with lots of shelves for storage. The second and third bedrooms have queen size beds, full closet and your quests will appreciate the privacy of their own full size bath.

    The kitchen has granite countertops, breakfast bar and is completely stocked with all the cooking utensils for preparing fabulous meals and baking wonderful desserts.

    Relax on the patio with a drink and your loved one(s) while watching the sunset behind the mountains!

Winter Sunshine

We had a lovely stay at this property! We were snowbirds seeking the sun and this home had the perfect patio for sunny reading in the morning and afternoon shade . We walked on the desert and in the quiet neighborhood and occasionally shared our spot with family and friends. We would come back again another year. It was perfect!

Perfect Desert Retreat

The property easily hosted our family of 5 adults and 2 young kids. It was immaculately clean which was important to us with a crawling baby. Quiet and private and the pool was great, if a tad chilly. The kitchen was well stocked but if you like to cook, could use some upgrades to dishes and knives, which were dull and cheap. Overall, a great two week stay!

Immaculate, quiet ... perfect

This home was quiet, clean, and met my family's needs completely. The neighborhood -- less than 10 minutes from a Life Time gym (where I am a member) -- is walkable and safe. The home comes with a large garage and a small but cute backyard. My wife, son, and I were very happy here. We will be back.

Thanksgiving gathering

We traveled to Phoenix to spend time with family who live there. The arrangement of bedrooms was perfect for our group. Our daughter and her family had the upstairs to themselves. It allowed the adults to continue visiting on the main floor without keeping children awake. The backyard provided a comfortable and enjoyable gathering area for eating, or catching up around the fireplace or work on your putting game.

Enjoyable Christmas Vacation

We had a family Christmas in Arizona this year and enjoyed staying at this property. Everything was very clean and the location was very nice and quiet. One thing they might want to look into doing is replacing the mattresses. All three are in need of an update. Otherwise the stay was very enjoyable and so easy to get ahold of the property manager and owner.

Family Gathering-Thanksgiving

Our accommodations fell through at the very last minute and I had family coming in from out of town for the holiday. I found the home on VRBO and it reached out to the owner about some details. Both the owner and property manager were awesome. They got right back to me and helped make it all work. The house was perfect. Very clean, fully stocked, and comfortable. Can’t thank you enough for making it a great and memorable thanksgiving for my family.

Great month-long stay!

We stayed at Mark's home for a month and really enjoyed our time there. We were able to take nice long walks every day in the neighborhood or nearby trails in the desert. It was close enough to shopping and restaurants but not too close to be too busy. The back patio area was wonderful for relaxing in the warm weather. We were very comfortable during our stay.

Enjoyed our stay so much!

Home: The home was just lovely, and everything was as described. For the price, you cannot beat it. We are a family of three, and we were so very comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with everything a person would ever need. Lots of counter space, a huge table, everything. Roll-out drawers for the cupboards, which I am now begging my husband to get me. The fridge worked great. Microwave and stove worked great and were clean. Washer and dryer were clean. 2.5 bathrooms, which were very clean. The garage was spacious for our rental, and clean. Back patio was clean, and the fireplace was cozy. So perfect. Ceiling fans in every room, but if we needed AC it was available. The pool wasn't heated, but I should have asked that beforehand. There is a hot tub, which was roomy, nice and hot. The pool/hot tub are about a block away. Location: I'm going to dock it one star because of the location. We are Seattle coffee-snobs, so a Starbucks run took about 15 minutes one way. Otherwise, at that main hub, any grocery and eatery you want. The bagel shop next to a neighborhood Walmart was so great. There is a coffeepot at the house. The overall location was so easy easily accessible to everything in central or North Phoenix, and of course, Phoenix itself is an ideal local for access to other parts of the state. The house is in an area where walking is amazing! There are sidewalks and little carved out beautiful areas. It was really fun walking around the neighborhoods. Everyone we met walking were really kind and said hello. The nearby hills against the twilight were just wonderful. We did not see a single sign of any bugs or spiders, and we know the home is being treated safely, because we spoke to the serviceman when he showed up to work as we were leaving. Owner: check in was fairly easy. We had an issue that came up on our part, and the owner was so easy to work with and so quick to respond. We appreciated staying here so much and would highly recommend it. We may stay here agin next year!

Nice place

There were a couple contradictions in the listing: one re bathrooms (the half bath doesn't have a shower),, and the other re the latest date to cancel and get a refund. But it's a good place and served our group well.
