"The BW Inn felt very cozy and safe. There was plenty of parking, and the attention to detail throughout the property was impressive. I had a minor issue with the bedding during my stay, but the staff resolved it promptly. They had a very nice breakfast. The inn is located in a very scenic part of the city, which was a pleasant surprise and added to the overall experience. My only small feedback is that the interior paint colors are quite dark. It's such a beautiful inn that lighter wall colors...

"Because of the Marathon thru the Avenue of the Giants was this weekend, it was very hard to find a room. This was the only place available and even though the rates were extremely high, we were pleasantly surprised with the property and staff. the early breakfast was an added benefit before we hit the road to the Redwood National Parks. I would stay there again if in the area. Front desk staff was very helpful."

"Handicapped bathroom.had two showerheads, one didn’t work. Shower had a clear strip on the floor that was all dirty black. Also had a black rubberized mat in front of shower, very dirty. Sink had something jammed in drain and water started filling up sink. Not very clean."

"We were very disappointed in this hotel. The word Boutique in the title threw us off. The lobby is very nice, but you don’t sleep in the lobby. We were looking forward to a special experience, but it was little better than a hostel. The heater/air conditioner made noise constantly and sounded like somebody was dragging a plastic bag through a shredder. We turned it off before we went to sleep and the air was fine in the room. So the air temperature was good but the bedding provided no warmth...

"This place is all about location. The experience in a 2-room suite was like staying at the home of an elderly relative who hasn’t updated their furnishings since the 70s. The rooms were spacious but a bit musty and quite worn. But it’s half a block to the main street so overall it’s a good choice if you don’t mind the thin walls and shag carpeting."
