Welcome to The Flamingo! This recently updated 2 story, 2 bedroom, 2.5 bath Purple Parrot unit is fresh feeling, welcoming and comfortable and is the perfect getaway for recharging your batteries. Located in the back of the resort, this charming cottage-type vacation home is just across from the indoor pool and the fitness center. There are 2 bedrooms upstairs with ensuite bathrooms. The guest bath has been remodeled with a great walk in shower. The master bedroom offers a King sized bed and the other bedroom offers 2 full sized beds. Bedrooms walk out onto balconies with views of the resort. Downstairs is where you will find the living area with a sleeper sofa, dining area and fully equipped kitchen. There is also a convenient half bath located downstairs. All Purple Parrots have charming screened front porches where guests may "perch" and reflect on the great day they had in Perdido Key.
There is a reason Purple Parrot Resort has such a fan base. Not only is it a hop, skip and jump away from a Public Access to white sand beaches, it's just a very fun place to stay with a relaxed vibe and lots of amenities. Enjoy a lagoon style resort pool, heated inside pool, soaking spa, fitness room, beach volleyball courts and an onsite Tiki Bar for enjoying live music, snacking or just hanging out by the pool.

Purple Parrot

The property is absolutely as advertised, we had a wonderful time, it was effortless to check in. The pool and live music daily was great my family had a blast. We hated to have to leave.

Clean place, nice location.

The condo was spacious and clean. Tall ceilings, a few games, puzzles and books available. Also a few beach toys. The sleeper sofa was not the most comfortable, but then, what sleeper sofa is? The beds upstairs were nicely outfitted and comfortable. Clean bathrooms. We enjoyed being at the back of the property, so to have a tad bit more privacy. The large porch and deck were so nice to enjoy our coffee on. We stayed at PP previously renting from a private owner, and noticed a big difference at this one being ran by a property management company. The condo was well stocked with dishes, cooking ware and utensils. However, there was NOTHING else really at all. 1 roll of tp per bathroom, one was not even full. A used roll of paper towel in the kitchen. NO hand towels in the kitchen, so we used a dish rag as not to use up all the paper towels. Not even S&P. The hand soap in the kitchen was almost empty and the bathrooms only have a tiny bar of hotel bar soap. As a parent, this stuff is needed . We had 1 trash bag and when we asked if they’re were more anywhere, we were instructed to go to dollar general. It’s a little off-putting to spend such an incredible amount of money, and yet still have to provide our own hand soap and trash bags. We love this resort, but will definitely check next time to see if it’s privately owned or ran by a property management company. We enjoyed our stay overall.

My family and I enjoyed our stay! The place was very clean and right by the indoor pool/hot tub/gym. Couple of small things that made my overall review 4 stars and not 5: 1. Bring EVERYTHING you need! The first night we arrived we went to the grocery store and the next morning I went to make breakfast and was surprised to find that this place did not even have salt and pepper. The toilet paper and papertowels on the rolls are all that are supplied. 2. the primary bedroom, king bed was not the most comfortable. 3. the air conditioning unit on the indoor pool area was VERY loud. When you would sit out on the porch you could hear it but didn't disturb our sleep. Overall we enjoyed our stay!

We had a great experience staying at the beach house. Cozy and convenient to everywhere we wanted to go. And the pool, tiki bar and others staying was very polite and nice. Definitely will choose it again!
