"Great place to stop in the country "

"The staff were lovely, struck up conversation and made an effort with us. The room was very tidy and neat. The only issue I would say is the shower pressure. I had a shower upon arrival, and even on the “rain” setting, the entire bathroom was soaked including the toilet and the loo roll. I tried facing it towards the wall but it was extremely powerful. May have only been in our room."

"Drink options great. Very clean room. Fixtures are worn and dated, but very clean. Room was very spacious and had every thing you need ie tea, coffee, biscuits, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, toiletries. If you need disabled room, you will need to ask as there are steps up to the rooms otherwise. Spa facilities are lovely. So clean and organised. Lovely swimming pool. The restaurant is tired decor wise, but the staff are so friendly, efficient, and the food was great quality, price and...

"Newly refurbished rooms were really nice, comfortable and well equipped. The hotel is also a bar/pub/restaurant. We ate at the restaurant and the food was decent. There was entertainment in the evening which was loud and we were concerned that it might disturb our sleep, but once back in the room, we couldn’t hear it. There is unrestricted public parking opposite the hotel."
