"Our room was adequate, however the bathroom sink was blocked and wouldn’t drain, with dirt and hair coming up from the pipe. We had to ask the staff to sort it twice before it was actioned. The bins weren’t emptied for the three days that we stayed there. On the plus side we ate in the restaurant and the food was plentiful and tasted great. The hotel is in a great location situated right opposite the railway station with regular trains into Zirmatt."

"This stopover was part of our European road trip, so stayed at 5 other hotels along the way. Room & shower facilities were nice and we managed to watch England play on the TV where other hotels did not have British channels. The only disappointing factor was that our room overlooked the staff car parking, the bins and smokers which wasn't very pleasant. Informed reception who accepted our feedback and would make improvements. Other than this, lovely hotel/restaurant."

"This hotel is a gem!! Flanked by stunning 360 degree views of the snow capped mountains and the valley below we were totally enchanted. Our host was so friendly and helpful and gave us suggestions on where to hike and where to eat. Their breakfast was extensive - eggs , cured meats , breads and cakes. We couldn’t ask for more. Rooms were in mint condition. Bathrooms very clean. Do note however that we visited during the off season so many restaurants were closed. Car parking available on the...

"Town was walkable. Rooms were spacious and clean. There was a locker room outside for ski and snowboard equipment to dry and everything. Building is well maintained. The spa, pool and steam room are very nice and needed after snowboarding. The gym is minimalistic but does exist. The restaurant however refused to serve me. Said they were full but there was only one table full of people. More then half of the tables and chairs were empty but was still refused service."

"Very pleasant stay. Clean room and helpful staff (although available hours were limited to check-in and check-out times). Great location close to train station, Gornergrat Railway, and the main street. We could see the Matterhorn from our window. We appreciated the shared amenities, from well-equipped kitchen and canteen area to luggage storage we used before check-in to laundry (for a small fee)."
