This super clean studio casita was a peaceful and comfortable retreat! It features a full kitchen with a 4-burner stove and oven, a large bathroom with a deep tub and plenty of hot water, and a cozy living area with a comfy couch, fireplace, and hi-def TV. The WiFi was strong, the street was quiet, and there’s a lovely outdoor seating area with a fire pit and wood provided. Good off-street parking with lots of room. The location is ideal—just minutes from Glorieta Pass and Pecos National Historical Park, and about 30 minutes to downtown Santa Fe. It’s perfect for anyone looking for a more rural setting with easy access to the city. The major highway (I-25) is nearby, so this is a great spot for travelers who prefer cozy accommodations over major roadside hotels and motels. There is no air conditioning, which might be something to consider in warmer months but the nights are often cool in this area. The walk from the parking area to the casita is down a very short, rocky hill that could be difficult for those with mobility or balance issues. We had a wonderful and restful stay, and enjoyed the nearby historical and archeological sights.
