"There was no breakfast available but there are plenty of options for breakfast within walking distance. The bed was comfortable and the ensuite was roomy. There was no internet access in our bedroom. Parking is allocated to your bedroom number and is available from book in until about 1.30pm to 2pm on the booking out day. This was ideal for us as we were able to get a last hike in before leaving."

"The room we stayed in at the back of the pub called The Old Barn was amazing. So clean, eco friendly and spacious. We did think the top floor overlooking the lounge area could be utilised better as there was just a massive dining table in there. The staff and dining in the pub was exceptional. "

"From arrival to departure... the experience was wonderful! We stayed in the three shepherds huts which are beautifully updated to a very high standard. Dinner was DELISH as was breakfast. AVOID paying via hotels.com because it caused serious checkout problems... but NOT the fault of The Plough Inn -- WE LOVED IT! "

"The place was lovely. The staff were so friendly, they accommodate a few special requests of mine for food. I ate dinner there every night. The food was excellent, with lots of options for vegan meals. The room was clean and well presented. Overall, I enjoyed the stay more than I was anticipating. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone to stay at George’s. "

"Fantastic, friendly and accommodating staff - food and service. Seriously the best lime and soda :), something so simple and yet… I have an adventurous palate, so was delighted to try a new taste sensation in the Brazilian cheese bread. The Bakewell dessert did not disappoint, was beyond expectation and ample for two spoons! Thank you. Photographic stroll over the bridge just behind the hotel - 100 metre walk. "
