We rented this place as part of our wedding weekend. It was wonderful! The property is located outside of Moncks Corner and would be ideal even for a staycation away from the hustle and bustle. The house’s layout was spacious with a large great room, spacious kitchen with all the amenities to cook onsite and wonderful views to the outside. There was plenty of parking and plenty of space to enjoy the property. The weather was nice that we were able to enjoy the back porch as well. The decorating was very cozy, inviting and warm. We very much enjoyed our stay!

Lovely facility

This was such a pleasant surprise-it was my second or third choice because the other locations kept getting booked before the family could agree on a location. I’m so glad this was the one we ended up staying in. Large, open family area with a huge kitchen, nice bathrooms, and big patio area. It’s right off the highway but it’s very quiet inside and hardly noticeable on the back patio. The guys enjoyed fishing in the pond and we walked the paths around the property. Short drive to Charleston. Great place to stay!

2025 Spring fishing trip

Me and my fishing buddies stayed at Widgeon Grove February 17-21 2025 and we were very impressed by this lodge. Honestly the pictures don’t do this place justice. We’ve been doing this spring trip for years and this trip was amazing. The fishing wasn’t great but the lodge was awesome. Caroline and her staff are great and answered all my questions quickly. We are already discussing dates for next year so we can book this lodge again. If you have a large group and want a comfortable stay while in this area you definitely want to give Caroline a call.There is so much room around the property you can park in 3 different spots and have access to power to charge you boat batteries. It is secluded so you have plenty of privacy. We all agree that this place is a 10 out of 10 and will stay here again.

Great Stay

We spent a wonderful 3 days at this property celebrating a wedding at Pineland place. It was close to our family and about 15 mins to the main area of Monks Corner. The lodge was clean, beautifully decorated and well stocked with everything you need. In the coming years, we may book and do thanksgiving up there with our SC family.

Very pleased

This home is everything it promise and more! Beautiful home, nicely decorated, very clean. Lots of extras amenities and supplies readily on hand. Property owner is very responsive and readily available to answer any questions.
