Sandcastle Oceanfront PET friendly Rental South End Pawleys Amazing Views

This beautiful Pawleys Island home features an oceanfront screened in porch and a private creek dock just steps away from the front door. The main level features a fully equipped kitchen and dining area along with a comfortable living space. In addition to the kitchen and living area, there are two bedrooms featuring one king and one queen that share a recently updated bathroom showcasing a step in shower. Upstairs the second level has five bedrooms and two bathrooms with a large Carolina room overlooking the ocean. The Carolina room offers a queen bed, two queen size sleeper sofas and a twin day bed with a twin trundle. Bedroom one upstairs has two twins, bedroom two has one queen, bedroom three has one king and bedroom four has a king. Perfect for large families, this house is a guest favorite and you will not be disappointed!

The furniture was filthy. Stains and drooping. We covered everything with blankets and had to assemble a new vacuum to sweep the floors. Under the furniture has not been cleaned in a very long time.We were very leery of our bed linens after seeing how not even a spill was ever cleaned on the couch. We were tempted to wash the slipcovers and line up the piping. The owner needs to freshen this place up. Other than that, the location and house were great.

First visit to Pawleys Island

We stayed for a week in late June and the property was excellent for our needs (3 generations with ages from 61 to 4 months). Beach and inlet access were super easy allowing for set up in the morning and tear down in the afternoon without worrying about our things. The surf was appropriate for all ages allow kids to play at the edges without too much concern but also let adults venture further out for body surfing. The house layout met our needs (bedrooms/bathrooms/kitchen/dining area). It was not fancy but didn't need to be for a beach house. The pictures on the website were very confusing as some pictures were taken before renovations and some afterwords. In all cases the renovations to the Carolina room, first floor windows and boardwalk to the beach were improvements and a pleasant surprise. We were also delighted to find a second fridge which came in handy but was not listed or shown in pictures. Lastly, the description should be updated to reflect only one enclosed outside shower instead of two. Again, this property worked very well for us and I would recommend it for families looking to maximize their beach time and minimize their stress.

Comfortable, pet-friendly oceanfront home

We loved sitting and looking at the ocean on the screened porch. My kids enjoyed fishing on the dock on the marsh side of the house. Great family, pet-friendly house!
