"The best hotel I've stayed in in Austin"

"First impression not so great, elevators were down and I had reserved a suite on second floor, couldn't imagine walking up and down with luggage and kids our entire stay. They did offer to move us to first floor but had to go from suite to double bed which was ok. The guy at front desk was amazing. He was very friendly and accommodating. Pool area need some TLC that hot tub smells awful and water is green. Pool was nice. But they need to clean around it. Overall had a great stay.. breakfast was...

"Most of the staff was great. But really depends on who is there that day. I had a couple of people being extremely helpful and nice. but one morning we didn’t have water during breakfast and the main desk attendant just said: “there is nothing we can do about it.” But other times I had people walking an extra mile to help with the laundry machine and other things. Outside needs care. But the room was clean and the mattress was new and confortable. Breakfast was good for what it is."

We brought it up to the front desk and we were offered an ice cream as a compromise. We asked for management to reach out to us and never heard from them. We brought it up again at checkout and they said “that would never happen here.” Asked again for a manager to reach out and still nothing. We had 7 guests in our room and had 1 towel in the bathroom....
