"The establishment is a carvery that does sunday roasts from Thursday to Sunday. I did not check this detail ahead of time and missed this detail. However the establishment is not too far from nearby cities that had amble dining options, but missing out on the roast experience was definitely regrettable. "Absolutely gorgeous place to stay. This is the 5th time we have been and will definitely be returning. The rooms are immaculate and the food is gorgeous. The staff make us feel so welcome every time. "

"It was a good hotel, we were visiting family in the area so was a nice base. We had stayed at other nearby hotels so wanted to try this one. It was okay for one night, we booked in for dinner. The menu is extremely limited for dietary requirements, with things listed as vegetarian that weren't and food didn't match description. We didn't book breakfast, again as similar wanted a much refresher breakfast rathan than a fry up. Gave 4 stars as was a lovely bed, very comfortable! The bathroom...

"It is perfectly located for the centre of Ripon and the lady checking us in was lovely. The room itself felt and smelt damp, the beds were not very comfortable and we couldn’t cover the window to make it dark which was an issue when getting our 1 year old to sleep. All that being said we would definitely stay there again because it made visiting Ripon on a tight budget possible and if we hadn’t had our daughter with us none of the above would have been an issue. "

"Great taster stay! Sophie was very hospitiable, excellent choice of food, Breakfast was brilliant, and the room and bathroom very clean. There was nothing not to like, would recommend, and for us to stay again !0/10 :)"

"Lovely old building in quiet location. Unusually, was able to book a single room which helps keep costs down when travelling solo. Although compact, it had everything needed for a stopover and was attractively decorated and spotlessly clean."
