Not sure if were skimming or scamming but called my bank and there was no reason my cards wouldnt go through except for a problem with their system. Had to find another hotel because didnt trust them! Card worjed at another hotel with no trouble at all!"

"I hesitated about whether to write this review as I don’t want to hurt a small family owned business but ultimately decided that there are factors here they can control and people need to know what they are booking. I have stayed in my fair share of budget accommodation. I am also not fussy or a germaphobe. But I had a very hard time not getting picked out by my room for the two nights I was there. Had to lift the lid every time to flush. The room was in pretty bad disrepair. The shower knobs and spout were falling off and barely held on by caulk. Towel holders and other fixtures were the same. Bed was sooo hard. The frame is a horribly designed metal frame that squeaks the entire night. No box spring or wooden...

"I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at A Beach Retreat. Was by myself for some me time. Room was perfect, clean and I felt very safe there. Just had to step out my door for the most amazing view. Would highly recommend and I’m sure I will be back."
