"The flat itself has a great outdoor space with table, and is in a great location (even if on a steep hill - good luck finding anywhere in Camogli that isn't!). A few things disappointed me on the stay however that impacted my thoughts on the flat - firstly, the bed is hard. I mean absolutely "bruising to the body" hard. I've slept on all manner of beds over travelling, but this was the worst - only by night 4 had I worked out a pillows + extra duvet + quilt under the sheet combination that...

"This place is wonderful. The building is so perfectly placed in the heart of Portofino with a parking garage across the street if you drive. Our only complaint is that although the mattresses are comfortable, they make noises every time you move in bed. I believe it’s the platform under the mattresses in the two bedrooms. In either case, we wore ear plugs and then slept fine."

"Nice location just 5 min walk from the beach and food store. Quiet and with beautiful surroundings. Newly renovated, nice beds and a modern kitchen. Unfortunately there were a few problems. "We absolutely loved our stay here! The location is perfect — right in the heart of Rapallo, overlooking the beachfront and harbour, with easy access to the main squares and so many fantastic restaurants right on the doorstep. A few streets away there’s also a lovely little shopping area with plenty of charming and unique shops. There’s a beach club directly across the way, which we used during our stay. It was around €25 per person for a full day, including a beach bed, umbrella and was definitely worth it. The location is also ideal for exploring the area, with the ferry nearby for easy trips to Portofino and Santa Margherita. Parking can be a little challenging and is on the pricey side, but honestly, the beautiful location more than makes up for it. The hotel itself was excellent, and breakfast was particularly good, with lots of choice. We had a fantastic stay and would definitely stay here again!"
