"this is an extraordinary locally owned platform cabin lodge in the rainforest next to the major national park with the most biodiversity in all Central America. Dispite the challenging location our room with Erie clean, no mold ( a rainforest problem) and fun. With an outdoor shower and a beautiful trail leading to it with candles along the way. "Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Drake Bay Getaway Lodge. "The view from absolutely everywhere is stunning. We had the chance to see a plethora of birds and monkeys from our little pool in our balcony. The drive there is a little challenging but the location makes it all worth it. Taking a shower indoor/outdoor is one of a lifetime experience. "

"Basic hotel so not for the luxury travelers but bed was comfy and shower good. Has a patio where I could sit and watch birds in the trees. Owner very friendly- made me breakfast every day and provided rides to and from ferry and airport for a small extra fee. Great base for doing Corcovado activities "

"Tres bel endroit, personnel attentionné et très gentil, le barman et manager Mario est toujours disponible pour repondre aux questions et organiser des tours. À quelques pas de ma plage, la nourriture est excellente, que ce soit au dejeuner au diner ou au souper. Seul petit bémol, il n’y a pas d’air climatisée dans les chambres donc un peu chaud mais il y avait tout de meme un ventilateur. "

"Loved this hotel. Excellent food and service. The view were fabulous, we saw toucans, macaws and humming birds from our terrace. We chose to travel from Sierpe and the boat ride to the hotel was very exciting! Would definitely stay again and hope to come back soon!"

"There are many options for a luxury stay at Bahia Drake, which this is not a luxury place. It is clean, safe, and pool is great at end of hot day. It is excellent at a reasonable price point. It is not luxury but that’s not why we were here. "

"We were greeted warmly by the day manager as our boat arrived. She told us we were being given an upgrade with a lovely ocean view. They went out of their way to help us including a very early breakfast before leaving for an overnight stay at La Sirena. Really appreciated the extra help."
