"A gem of a hotel tucked well away in it's own extensive grounds. We were upgraded to one of the 5 suites which was extremely spacious and well equipped. Breakfast was great and staff very helpful. We will definitely stay again."

"The hotel is in a transition phase - they're in the midst of a reboot/refurb so things are still a bit up and down, though they did seem to be trying their best. I stayed in one of the finished rooms and everything was just as you would expect. Unfortunately the hotel was overbooked so my colleague had to stay in one of the incomplete rooms. Suite 15 is directly opposite the kitchen extractor fan which is on from before 5.00am until the kitchen closes at night & can easily be heard in the room. "Lovely room, helpful staff and super breakfast. Easy parking too. Only minor gripe was that the window didn't stay open and we had to prop it open with a toilet roll. The was a bit of an issue as the weather was unseasonable warm and there is no AC in the room. However, the staff did say this was already noted and action was being taken. This was our second stay at the hotel and we would certainly visit again."
