"Very nice and cozy place, friendly staff "

"The room was large, clean and comfortable. We had a fantastic view of Saruga Bay. Unfortunately we didn't have time to try the onsen. Lovely place, highly recommend! "

"El hotel necesita una modernización; pero los baños son increíbles y la ubicación excepcional. "

"Fantastic location to unwind and relax. Great room with own sauna and outdoor bath was awesome"

"夕食、朝食共に大満足でした。"

"There isn’t much to do nearby, so it’s really a place to relax, enjoy the onsen, eat, sleep, read, and unwind. I highly recommend booking the half-board option since there are very few dining choices outside the hotel. We had a room with a private bath, which was wonderful. However, the bedroom was upstairs, and I didn’t feel very safe using the stairs at night. I wouldn’t recommend this type of room for families with young children or anyone with mobility concerns. The food was excellent! The...

"What an incredible stay for us. First time to a ryokan (i.e., traditional Japanese inn w/ onsen). What an experience! Hotel is somewhat confusing to navigate, but that is part of the adventure. The public onsen was incredible (note: they swap the male and female sides, so pay ATTENTION!). The room we stayed in was "traditional" in that we had five futons atop tatami. Haven't selpt that well in a long time! The in-room onsen was a bit old school (basically a deep tub), but still oh so magical....

"The staff at this ryokan were incredibly kind and welcoming, the amenities were wonderful, and the traditional food was truly excellent. Unfortunately, the condition of the room completely overshadowed these highlights. As soon as we entered, we were hit with a heavy, overpowering scent of mildew making it quite uncomfortable to breathe. Upon closer inspection, we found visible mold growing on the walls. For the price of a ryokan experience, proper upkeep and a mold-free environment should be a...

"I know my husband plans to write a longer review but until that happens, just know that this lovely little gem is exactly that. The staff went above and beyond to meet our every need. The villa was beautiful as was our outdoor onsen which I wish I could have taken with me. The real stand out for us was the staff, their kindness and the quality of the food. We were truly blown away and agreed that we had some of our finest meals here. On second thought I wish I could bring Chef home with me....

"ロビーからも海側の部屋からも堂ヶ島の素晴らしい景色が目に飛び込んできて感激します。チェックインは絶対に夕日が見られる時間前にしたい宿です！露天風呂も海に近く、三四郎島を堪能できました。チェックアウト前にトンボロも見ることができ良い思い出になりました。お食事はバイキングではなく朝夕共に自席でゆっくり美味しく食べられました。ロビーでも食事会場でもオールインクルーシブルでお酒をいただくことができて嬉しかったです。"
