"Our room was very clean and the reservation staff were very accommodating. Room was very spacious. We left before breakfast but had breakfast included in our rate- they offered to make us a breakfast bag which consisted of a sandwich, snacks and.drinks. They took our order and asked for a time. Come morning it was not ready at the time we had asked so it made us late as we waited an extra 15 mins. It was not the sandwich we had ordered and no snacks. The sandwich was quite good."

"The setting is lovely and the walkable locality and village amenities. We must have booked the budget room though instead of the advertised "deluxe", first floor courtyard, old stables. Room was fairly grubby, area behind the door hadn't been cleaned forever, shower tiny, bedding and towels clean but quality poor and only 1 skinny little pillow each? Our problem though was we arrived at tail end of heatwave and asked for a fan or something but apparently any available had already been given...

"Large free car park, from the outside the hotel looks somewhat dated, like a 70s school block. However inside it’s very nine, quite spacious and a nice bar restaurant (Liffey Bar) with a lunch carvery, bar menu, daily specials. Portions were huge and the food was lovely, we had lunch and dinner here twice and couldn’t fault it. Service was very good, plenty of staff and all genuinely friendly. "Overall a good stay at the hotel, thank you to the hotel staff. Convenient location, near to Liffey Valley shopping centre, easy access to restaurants outside. Also good bus access to Dublin City. Swimming pool was a bit busy on Friday evening (we had kids so had to swim in the busy time). Good spread of breakfast. Would certainly stay there again!"

The only reason I didn’t give this 5 stars is because the hotel still didn’t feel worth the price. We stayed at another hotel near this hotel that was half the price and we enjoyed it just as much. That said it is still a wonderful hotel."
