"Great location and lovely staff. Our room was spacious and comfortable EXCEPT that the room was stiflingly hot. Not warm. HOT. We had two portable fans blowing all the time, which made it tolerable for sleeping. I understand that the weather in Ireland is unusually warm and not the hotel’s fault but damn. 15 degrees cooler in the hallway The restaurant has delicious food and the breakfast was plentiful and inexpensive. Will try here again in the fall or spring"

"I think I chose the wrong time of year to visit. It was 28c & room 220 had no AC. The window only opened 6 inches. The room was like boiling all night. With what bit of air was coming through was accompanied by the sound of seagulls all night long. So I didn’t get a great nights sleep unfortunately. Glad i was only in that room 2 nights. "The owners, Shane and Sinead, could not be more welcoming or helpful. The B&B is full of pleasant touches, including an in-room Nespresso machine and fresh fruit and cold water upon arrival. The beds are comfortable, the shower hot with good pressure, and the breakfast is delicious. Could not rate this place more highly. Also, Bunratty is a fun stop with the Folk Park and castle, and a few good restaurants. Perfect place to start or end your visit to Ireland on your way in or out of Shannon...

"Beautiful property. Adam was very helpful and kind upon check in. Room was nice. Loved the fact that this hotel had air conditioning (we arrived during a heat wave). Plan ahead- there was no mini fridge in the suites. There is a ice machine and water bottle filler, but no ice bucket so I had to walk to the machine with a mug for ice. I'm a somewhat larger woman (16-18 US) and the robes provides were just barely too small so could not enjoy unfortunately."

"The room was clean but it wasn't prepare for our arrival. The check-in proccess was a mess, the reservation was not registered and there was no one to help. We called the campus security who went quickly but didn't have the information as he didn't received it from the reception staff. The location was far from the bus stops, so the walking was very long and heavy considering the luggage."
