The Wilds is a private, non-profit #safari park and #conservation center that combines cutting-edge conservation science and education programs with hands-on experiences and one-of-a-kind adventures that include ziplining, horseback riding, fishing and more. The "welcoming" committee. As soon as these Ostriches saw the safari vehicle they came straight for us. We were advised to keep our hands and personal items we wanted to keep away from the side of the vehicle. Since it was windowless they would reach in and take whatever caught their interest.
The Wilds is a 9000+ acre nature and conservation center. You can take a safari bus down among the animals. Cool place, worth seeing. My only negative is that there aren't nearly enough animals for the size of the place. The foal was no more than a week or two old at the time. #OnTheRoad

This giant bucket is all that remains of Big Muskie. Big Muskie was a coal-mining dragline excavator, longer than a football field, weighing 12,200 tons and standing nearly 22 stories tall. It operated in southeastern Ohio from 1969 to 1991. It was the largest machine ever to move on land. The 220 cubic yard bucket could hold two full size buses.
