"I visit many hotels and there are too many major hotel chains that do not maintain high levels of service. This hotel was a welcome change as the standards throughout were very high. A special mention for the staff who were so helpful, and to the very high standards of the outside areas. So pleasing to see no litter but properly maintained gardens and walkways. Well done. "

"We had a three nights’ stay, which was perfect and memorable for all the right reasons. We stayed at Lloyd overlooking the gardens, which was incredibly comfortable and spotlessly clean. The quality of the food was exceptional - be it breakfast, dining in the restaurant or just snacks in the cafes - fresh, presented well and delectable. Having access to the beautifully maintained castle grounds around the clock was a real bonus. What more could I say? Our stay left us spellbound and we will...
