Welcome to our mountain home! This house is truly special to us — it’s built right into the mountainside and stretches across three main levels, with the garage tucked up on a fourth level above. We’ve listed out which rooms are on which floor to help make your stay a little easier to navigate:
Main Level
This is the heart of the home — where you’ll likely gather the most.
• Cozy living area
• Dining room with space for family meals
• Fully equipped kitchen
• Master bedroom with ensuite master bathroom
• Additional half bathroom
Middle Level
This is our favorite hangout spot — it’s perfect for relaxing or a bit of friendly competition!
• Spacious living area
• Poker table
• Ping pong table
• Foosball table
• Gaming nook
• Indoor sports court
• Hot tub access
• Laundry room
• 2 king bedrooms
• Shared full bathroom
Bottom Level
Tucked away and peaceful — great for sleeping in or letting the kids unwind.
• Another cozy living space
• 2 queen bedrooms
• A fun kids’ bunk room
• Two full shared bathrooms
Garage & Parking
The garage is actually on the top level of the house — a bit unusual, but it makes for amazing views when you arrive! It fits three vehicles comfortably, and there’s space for three more cars right in front of the garage doors.
The Setting
This home is nestled right into the Wasatch Mountains, and we just love how connected it feels to nature. Don’t be surprised if you spot deer or other wildlife outside your window. There’s also a small spring that flows behind the house — the sound is so peaceful, and it really adds to the charm. The wooded landscape around you is quiet, calming, and beautiful year-round.
You will have access to the entire home!
We proudly host The Views at Matterhorn — where comfort meets connection. Our mission is to create unforgettable spaces for families and groups to relax, reconnect, and recharge. While we won’t be on-site during your stay, we’re always just a message away and committed to making your experience seamless and memorable.
Please note that our home is on the mountainside. This means during the months we have snow, it will be a challenge to remove snow buildup, as the snow plows tend to create a "curb" of snow in the driveway. Additionally, the roads may be treacherous at times
1. No Smoking or Vaping Inside
Please don’t smoke or vape anywhere indoors. If you do smoke or vape, I will have to charge a $200 cleaning fee per day of the reservation.
2. Pets & Service Animals
We do not allow pets or ESA's at our home, but we may make an exception if needed. Please reach out to us with questions. If you bring in an unauthorized pet, we will charge you a $200 fee.
Service animals are, of course, always welcome at no cost, please just clean up after them — uncollected waste outside is $10 per area, and any accidents or damage indoors may be billed for cleaning or repairs.
3. Communication
If anything comes up, feel free to message me through the app and I will be available to help! If it’s more urgent, you can text or call, but please only use this for urgent items or emergencies!
4. Check-In, Check-Out & Extra Time
Want to arrive early or leave late? I’ll do my best to accommodate based on my cleaner’s schedule — it’s usually $15 per extra hour. Just give me at least 24 hours’ notice! Unapproved late check-outs may be charged $50 per hour to compensate my cleaners.
5. Guests & Visitors
You are welcome to have guests and visitors at the home! The max number of guests staying overnight is 23. If you’re planning to have more folks sleep over, please reach out first — I may be able to accommodate, but additional fees might apply!
6. General Cleanliness & Respect
Please take care of the home like it’s your own:
->Bag all trash before putting it in the bins.
->Leave any broken items on the counter and let me know.
->Keep noise down outside after 10 PM (quiet hours).
->Don’t move furniture — it’s a pain to reset and could result in a $500 fee.
7. Maintenance & Upkeep
I do my best to keep the property in great shape, but occasionally light maintenance might need to happen during your stay (like yard work or HVAC servicing). I’ll give you a heads-up beforehand if that’s the case. If no one answers, vendors may enter during normal hours.
8. Safety
Please lock all doors and windows when you leave — it helps keep critters out and your things safe! Security cameras are outside the home for added safety (never inside). And if you lock yourself out, no worries — I can walk you through using the lockbox. If a locksmith is needed or I need to come in person, there may be a fee.
9. Odds & Ends
-> I provide basic starter supplies (paper towels, TP, soap, etc.) — if you run out, feel free to pick up more locally.
-> Lost something? I’ll hold onto it for 14 days, and we can ship it back to you for the cost of shipping.
->If you’re ordering packages, reach out first — delivery availability can vary by property.
10. HAVE FUN!
Most importantly, you HAVE to have fun at our home, no exceptions!! We are so happy to have you!
