This wonderful and unique property is one of the largest direct ski-in/ski-out properties in the Deer Valley area. The penthouse at Double Eagle offers incredible square footage, great views and all the fun features you’re looking for on your vacation! With three living areas, two full kitchens, a pool table, steam room, private hot tub and direct ski-in/ski-out access to Deer Valley Resort you are sure to enjoy your stay in this amazing mountain retreat!

The ski-in/ski-out, Double Eagle condominiums are located in Silver Lake Village, mid-mountain Deer Valley Resort. They are built up the hillside and have a ski access onto the Success ski run on Deer Valley Resort’s lower mountain. From this trail, ski down to the base of the mountain and start your ski day from there (the base area is also where the ski school meets for lessons each morning and afternoon).

This spacious, seven-bedroom condo is lovely with great views from nearly every window. One of the best features is the private ski access trail and dedicated ski prep room to keep all of your gear ready to go. And with a 6 pair boot dryer your gear will be warm and toasty all day!

There is approximately 6000 square feet of living space over the three levels in this condo. The entry level is the main living room, kitchen and dining area combined as one great room, with a large wrap around deck outside off the living room. Also located on this level is the master bedroom suite with gorgeous views, a private fireplace and an in-suite bathroom.

On the top floor you will find three of the bedroom suites and the ski prep room. Right at the top of the stairs you will find the ski prep room with a private access door to the ski trail, boot dryers and lots of space to hang skis and clothing. The first bedroom on this floor is the queen bedroom with a private in-suite bathroom. Across the hall from that is the twin room with 3 twin beds and 2 trundles – the kids will love this room! Down the hall is a large bedroom with two queen beds and a twin day bed.

On the lower level of the house you will find the second kitchen, the second living room, a family room and three more bedroom spaces. Also included on this level is the in home steam room and the private 8 person hot tub – great for relaxing after a long day on the hill.

Ski Access: Ski out via the access trail just outside the building. There is a door leading to the trail right from the private ski prep room in the condo. Ski back via the 'Double Eagle Access Trail' that leads you right back to the building. (all ski-in/ski-out access trails are conditions permitting).

Main Living Room: High vaulted ceilings, hardwood flooring, floor to ceiling stone fireplace (wood burning with gas assist), Pool Table, large flat screen TV, DVD, CD stereo, plenty of seating.

Second Living Room: Located on the lower floor of the condo. This cozy space is filled with seating and has a flat screen TV!

Family Room: Located on the lower floor of the condo. This room has great views and a floor to ceiling stone fireplace. This wonderful space is great for relaxing and enjoying the company of the family next to a roaring fire! There is also a full size Murphy bed in this room!

Main Kitchen: Hardwood flooring, tile counters, stainless steel appliances, very well equipped for cooking meals. Counter/bar separates the kitchen space from the living area.

Second Kitchen: An additional full kitchen is located on the lower floor of the condo. This is great for quick meals and quick access to a fridge from the hot tub!

Dining Room: Seating at the dining table for 6, with bar stool seating for at the kitchen counter.

Bedrooms:
Master – Absolutely gorgeous views, King bed, wood burning fireplace, TV, walk in closet, adjoining full bath, and access to the large wrap around deck. On main level.
Second – King bed, HDTV, adjoining full bathroom. On top floor.
Third – Two Queen beds and a twin day bed, adjoining full bathroom with large soaker tub and shower. On top floor.
Fourth – Three twin beds and two twin trundle beds. Attached full bathroom. Located on top floor.
Fifth Bedroom – Two twin beds. Bathroom just outside in the hallway. Located on lower level.
Sixth Bedroom – Two twin beds. Bathroom just outside in the hallway. Located on lower level.
Seventh Bedroom – Full size Murphy bed. Bathroom just outside in the hallway. Located on lower floor.

Hot Tub: Private to condo, located on lower level patio.

Steam Room: Private to the unit. Located on the lower floor.

Laundry Room: There are two sets of full size laundry machines. One located on the top floor and the other on the lower level.

Air Conditioning: No.

Garage: Common parking garage with elevator access to the floor that this unit is located on.

Distance to Deer Valley Resort: Use ski access to get onto the ski runs and back to the condo, or walk to the Silver Lake Lodge (2/10 mile).To ski "in/out" via the ski access, walk out of the door in the ski prep room and put your skis on at the access trail. It is a relatively flat trail with not much slope that puts you on to Success run, a relatively easy green run that goes to the base area.
Distance to Park City Mountain Resort: 4.5 miles
Distance to Main Street: 3.5 miles
Distance to Free Bus: 75 yards to bus stop.

For the high rate we paid for this property during prime season, everything should be perfect. It wasn't. Some of the good: Excellent, flexible floor plan for a large, mixed age group. Excellent ski-in, ski-out, with easy access to a nearly full novice run for free. good views. good hot tub, steam room, ski room, pool table, games, books, seating for at least 12 at table, gas-assist wood-burning fireplace, outdoor grill. Some of the bad: very bad experience finding the place and getting in -- directions inaccurate, street signage different from GPS and different from written directions, neither of the two keys provided worked, property manager office closes at 5 after checkin not til 4 necessitates calls to 24-hour service for problem resolution -- they took substantial time to respond and tell us keypad code to get in, failure to clear deep snow so that property address and signage is visible from street/car, failure to disclose that property garage has 8 foot vehicle height limit and no nearby non-garage parking, no response by property manager to pre-arrival email requesting info on various issues, conflicting listing of garage entry keycode on different pieces of the literature provided, one of the marked property parking spaces in garage consistently occupied by someone else. The condos themselves were clean, but nicked up and showing wear in various respects -- dishwasher rack slips out of track resulting in poor wash performance (noted in previous reviews and not fixed), freezer and icemaker upstairs very finicky, curtain rods in master bedroom broken resulting in inoperable and fallen drapes, hodgepodge of flatware such that there is full matching service for only 8. On the whole, a very nice place with various issues that one should not have to deal with at a top dollar property. Finding the place and getting in entailed several hours of irritating and should-be-avoidable delay for each of the several groups in our large party including meltdowns by infants and children after a long day of travel from across the US.

We enjoyed our stay at Double Eagle units 6-7. The location is good for skiing. The condos are spacious and comfortable. The place does need some TLC as there are several things in need of repair. ( dishwasher rack, warming oven, many broken knobs, ice maker makes very few cubes, master bath door scrapes the floor) to name a few.

Size and location cannot be beat. Easy to ski in and not so hard to ski out. Couple of minor issues during our stay were dealt with by management with wonderful professionalism. Large house with great amenities. Would definitely stay there again

The property is beautiful and the amenities were quite good. The family loved the pool table and there was plenty of rooms and beds. Everything functioned well. The property could stand a little TLX and fix and few knobs etc. but overall it was just as we expected. The other reviews were very accurate. Would we stay there again, YES!

This property was a very large space. Enough for our large group of 12. Probably a great space in the winter but no A/C for the summer. Had to run fans during the entire stay making it a noisy stay. As a disclaimer I am a very critical person in my review. So here it goes. The place was clean but there were stains on the couches and carpet. Many of the cupboards were missing handles as well some of the windows. For a large group there was not enough garbage sacks (2) paper towels (1 roll) or toilet paper. We tried to use the grill and there was no propane. We had to go buy another tank full for $60. There is no outside space other than the decks and we never did find a tennis court or swimming pool associated with the property. Those were the negatives. On a positive note the large space allowed for plenty of room to spread out. Two kitchens and two family rooms made for a great space. The area was absolutely beautiful. A few updates and this would be a five star stay. We have stayed in many VRBO homes over the years and this property as is an average stay. Therefore the 3 star review. Average.

We came here for a family reunion of 19, adults and children, and it was everything we could've hoped for. The pictures don't do it justice on just how big this double condo is, it fit everyone and we had space to spare. The steam room and hot tub were fantastic and the views were always gorgeous looking over Park City. Would highly recommend for any large parties.

Property is exactly as advertised. Only complaint is lukewarm hot water, which is probably easily fixable. Also need to attach dishwasher to not lean forward, also easily fixable. We would definitely stay again.

Rental arrangements went smoothly. A bit pricey but Park City is a resort town. Plenty of room to spread out the family and yet come together in common areas. The pool table was a big hit and got used continuously! The weather was unseasonably warm so having no A/C was a bit uncomfortable. We ended up buying a couple extra box fans. The remotes were short of a few batteries. The ice maker couldn’t keep up with heavy use and a few knobs were missing from kitchen cabinets (aging property). More TP, paper towels and garbage bags would be nice! Proximity to Park City proper was nice. Overall, everyone had a great time and didn’t want to leave😊

We had 14 people and with 7 bedrooms and bathrooms plus a murphy bed it was plenty roomy. 3 living areas allowed for spreading out for those that wanted some space. Getting to and from the snow was also not a problem, just walk out the back door and up the steps. Would definitely rent again.

Beautiful condo with lots of room for the entire family and friends. Ski in and ski out. Awe inspiring view from the deck. This is the perfect place to have a large gathering of friends, family and/or children.

We have eight children! Getting us all together with the grands is quite a feat. Finding a place large enough and affordable has been difficult. Although not everyone could come we had ten adults and ten children. There was plenty of room for us all and the parents and children loved all the room and several gathering places. Thanks to this lovely place, we have wonderful memories to talk about!
