## Emplacement
The 8th is the district of Paris where the Champs-Elysées are located, reputed to be the most beautiful avenue in the world. There is also the Palace of the same name (of the Élysée, therefore) which is the residence traditionally assigned to the French Head of State, as well as several embassies installed in sumptuous mansions. The most impressive monument in the district is undoubtedly the Arc de Triomphe, located at the western end of the Champs.

Stay Away

I do not recommend. A substandard place with no heat and a host who waited 24 hours to turn it on. My best recommendation is to stay away! The weather was cold and the room was unbearable. The radiator was not turned on by the host until the second day. I was unable to stay due to it being freezing. It is rundown and sparse. Not worth the price. Communication with host is poor. Not at all a welcoming place. Believe the "Poor" reviews. Stay away.

Location is great, it is few steps from the shopping center. The only downside is that it has no lift and the stairs are very narrow. I am a solo traveller and I had to carry 2 18kgs luggages going up and down without any help. Host is very responsive. I would recommend luggage asisstance during check-in and check-out.

The check in was super complicated I believe the over specific instructions for check-in were for a different unit completely, which was a huge confusion and waste of time going up what felt like 700stairs that were beyond narrow. The hallway is dark and creepy. The unit left a lot to be desired the worst mattress and pillow combination I’ve ever experienced in my life, truly . This plus stairs and 12-15 hour days walking lead to back spasms lol not for the boujee, elderly, weak, high maintence or lazy ! The small fan does not work at all. The floor makes crackling noises with every step , the water tank above toilet will drip and leak all over you and the floor and noisy to sleep. Little bugs in shower from upper window being left open. Location is incredible the only reason to give 3 stars even with an incredible Morroccan restaurant Downstairs, across the street from stores and LV future hotel.

Apartment well located, but no hygiene

The instruction given were not super clear. Although the apt is very well located, it is very difficult to reach. It’s on the fifth floor of a building with very poor light and very narrow stairs (it was super difficult to bring up and down the luggage due to the very tiny space). There was no hot water for the whole stay, as well as no heating. The dishes weren’t cleaned at all and the apartment was full of dust.

Good location to explore Paris

The apartment is clean and cosy, just a few meters from the most famous shopping street of Paris. A metro station is also nearby, but a walk to the Eiffel Tower is no more than 20-25 minutes. Communication with the manager is excellent, they will help with everything.

Fantastic deal in unbeatable location

I had a great time staying at this apartment. First and foremost the location is fantastic. It’s right across the street from the Louis Vuitton on Champs Elysees. 1 minute walk from George V metro which can get you to the Louvre in <10 minutes, Notre Dame, and Bastille. Arc De Triomphe is a 5 minute walk and gives you access to a few others. I also thought the apartment was nice and clean. Bathroom was pleasant. It’s small but that’s normal for Paris. Communication with the owner was thorough and check in/out was easy. Certainly for the price well worth the value. It does have its flaws, but I felt that was well accounted for in the price. It’s a 5th floor walk up a narrow stair case so would not suggest heavy bags or would be aware if this may be an issue (elderly). The mattress is fairly thin (~3-4 inches) and the sheets aren’t super high quality. All in all, I’d book this again - an incredible value.

Nice place but no air conditioning

The small apartment is on the 5th floor with no elevator. That information is not shared until you are close to occupancy. It is small, functional, and clean. However, when the weather is hot the apartment in unbearable, especially when the fan provided did not work. We were unable to stay in this place due to the heat. I recommend booking in the winter months instead.

Response To Concerns

The location was perfect and we felt very safe with the 3 secured doors. We informed HostnFly that the toilet was not working. We did not use it after the first flush. A plumber/ maintenance man came around 5:30 on our second day. The water had been turned off. We had him take a picture of damage to the table which we noted when we arrived. We gave suggestions that the quality of the bedding would be appreciated by future guests. There were no tea towels for drying dishes. The location was very quiet but we really were there just to sleep . The shower was very spacious.
