Sublim apartment Beaubourg/Le Marais

Very charming flat with 1 double bedroom and 1 single bedroom located in the centre of Paris in the 4th arrondissement, just a few steps from the rue de Rivoli known for its many lively shops and restaurants. You're surrounded by trendy cafés and restaurants, and a 5-minute walk from the Marais, the Beaubourg Centre and the banks of the Seine. Pleasant, warm, tastefully decorated and fully equipped, my apartment is ideal for a successful stay in Paris with family or friends.

Flat of 75m2 on the 1st floor without lift
It comprises:
- a living room with a sofa bed for one person
- A fully-equipped separate kitchen
- 1 bedroom with a double bed
- 1 bedroom with a single bed
- A separate toilet
- A shower room

The cleaning charge includes clean sheets and towels for each guest and is carried out by a professional cleaner.

The security was good. We had to figure out that the key was in the black mailbox. I didn’t realize that first floor is actually 2nd floor to us. The toilet being several steps away from soap and water was inconvenient. The neighborhood was very lively and offered every kind of dining and shopping. When we had a question, it was handled quickly. We enjoyed our trip to Paris very much.

Excellent location

The location was amazing, the property functional, and Johanna was very responsive, but check-in left a lot to be desired. Getting into the building was straightforward but the instructions for the lockbox and key were incomplete and we received two different codes. We were lucky that a cleaner was there to help us when we arrived. We were very happy with the location though two keys would be preferable for a two bedroom apartment.

A difficult entry and loud mornings

There were many reasonable things about this apartment, but the entry was very difficult (it's not just us - everyone we encountered had the same first impression: a dark stairway that was not very inviting and felt the opposite of the photos as well as a complicated entry). Every morning of our stay we were woken up my loud cleaning (or something); it sounded like a washer with a large load out of kilter or a vacuum cleaner being loudly dragged across the floor endlessly. It was weird. The apartment itself was supposed to be three beds though there were only two (and the second was tiny with no place to hang anything). This particular apartment would be suitable for a couple with one child not two adults. The location is reasonable but if I were a single woman traveling alone, I would be uncomfortable struggling to get in late at night with so many bars around.

Difficult to checkin

Rough property, old building. Slow shower drain. Had to use yaggo app to register our stay. Watched their video about finding the apartment and entering codes to get the keys. But the key box had been changed to electronic and was now in a mailbox instead of besides the door. Had to call to get help. They kept telling us to press the middle of the keypad but we needed to press the unlock button above the middle. Nice location to notre dam and louvre and orsay etc. but the accommodations were very basic. We didn’t like that the toilet didn’t have a sink, the sink is in the shower room. That toilet room was as small as I’ve ever tried to sit in. Glad I’m not claustrophobic.

Great Location

Close to dining and shopping—easy access to trains. Perfect! Loved having the option of a wash machine that came in handy. Quiet sleep even on a crowded streeet.
