Rue Suger is a charming one-bedroom vacation rental on the perennially fashionable Left Bank. Located in the vibrant Saint-Germain-des-Prés neighbourhood, this home offers an enchanting retreat for two, with the convenience of Mabillon and Saint-Germain-des-Prés Metro stations just a stone's throw away. Regarded by many as one of the most beautiful areas of the city and home to an abundance of cafés, boutiques and exquisite architecture, Saint-Germain-des-Prés has always attracted writers, artists and philosophers. It’s also full of hidden gems such as Le Procope, Paris’ oldest café and home to Napoleon’s discarded hat, and the Cour du Commerce-Saint-André, where French revolutionaries would meet in secret. Step through the entrance of Rue Suger, and you will be immediately greeted by a spacious, bright, and comfortable home. High ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows and a white décor complemented by honey-gold flooring make the sitting room and dining area feel relaxed and airy. Books line the wall, and the furnishings are a charming mismatch of vintage and retro. The kitchen balances that look with a sleek, modern design combining white counters and charcoal grey drawers and cabinets. The bedroom, tucked away from the main living area, features a comfortable double bed and simple yet elegant decor. Large windows flood the room with natural light, and traditional shutters ensure a peaceful night's sleep. The adjacent shower room, with its classic tiling and indulgent soak tub, offers a perfect retreat after a day of exploring. There are plenty of shops, restaurants and cafés within easy reach, and the whole area has a friendly, relaxed ambience. This apartment is ideal for a couple looking to explore the romance of Paris or for a solo traveller staying in the city on business.

Home Truths:

- Please note that the apartment is on the first floor of a typical parisian apartment building with no elevator, so it may not be suitable for guests with reduced mobility. This home does not accept pets. This home accepts babies, toddlers and children. This home doesn't have air-conditioning. Between june and september, we'll place a fan in the bedroom. Please let us know if you'd like fans outside the summer period. There is no storage space in the bedroom. The storage for guests is in the wardrobe in the hallway. There is no television in this home. The toilet room is located near the entrance of the apartment and is separated from the bathroom. Please note that the heating will be on only between mid-october and may, in line with ecological and environmental practices aimed at limiting energy consumption and reducing our carbon footprint.

- Please note this property requires full payment for the stay prior to check-in, guests will receive a message from the property with a secure payment link after booking.
