We arrived early hoping to check in ahead of time. Initially, we were told our room was ready, but the front desk staff quickly corrected this and informed us it would be about an hour—around the standard 3:00 pm check-in time. We went out to grab a bite and pick up some water, but unfortunately, when we returned, our room was still not ready. In the end, we didn’t get access until around 4:30 pm, about 1.5 hours past the expected time.
To their credit, the front desk offered us access to the lounge as compensation, which we appreciated. However, the delay did disrupt our sightseeing plans for the day.
When we finally entered the room, it appeared clean, but as a family of four, we noticed the Murphy bed had not been prepared and there were no sheets provided. Before heading out again around 5:00 pm, we asked the front desk if the bed could be made up for our children while we were out, and we were assured it would be taken care of.
Unfortunately, when we returned around 9:30–10:00 pm, the bed was still not set up. We had to contact the front desk again, which was frustrating—especially after a long day of delays with tired kids. Overall, while some efforts were made to address the situation, the lack of follow-through impacted our experience.
