Ubicado en el corazón de Saint Germain des Près, muy cerca de la catedral de Notre-Dame, encantador apartamento en el 1er piso de un edificio seguro. Ideal para visitar París gracias a su ubicación, ubicada en el Boulevard Saint Germain, el apartamento tiene una gran sala de estar luminosa, dos hermosas habitaciones con camas cómodas y un baño con ducha. Tendrá una maravillosa estancia en nuestro apartamento.

En el 1er piso con ascensor de un hermoso edificio parisino seguro, apartamento muy agradable y funcional con una gran sala de estar luminosa, Internet Wifi y televisión. La cocina está totalmente equipada con nevera, horno, microondas, cafetera. Las dos habitaciones grandes tienen espacio de almacenamiento y camas cómodas. Una gran ducha en el baño, también con lavadora y secadora. Todo ha sido planeado para que su estadía sea inolvidable y se beneficie de toda la comodidad necesaria.

The location is amazing and the property was clean and we had no issues. It does not have AC but there were fans in the bedrooms and contrary to another review the windows do open. It was a loud location but this is the middle of a big city so I think that comes with the territory. The apartment was very basic- nothing fancy but we were there to see the city not to hang out in the apartment. The price for that location was a solid value.

Didn't realize it was located on such a noisy & busy street.Bathroom sink never drained properly. Very convenient to everything like Metro, restaurants, open market & Seine!Would be very helpful to have some written instructions to appliances like stove, oven, Microwave & TV, washer & Dryer as when renters usually arrive they are very tired & can't take in a 10 minute verbal instruction.

Wonderful apartment, great location

Two of us stayed in this spacious apartment; we loved the location with the 3 times a week market just across the street. The apartment was well equipped and easy to 'live' in for the full two weeks of our stay. I will definitely want to stay here during all my Paris trips. Metro/bus easy access. Just a few blocks from Notre Dame.

Fantastic location and apartment.

Great place and we had a fantastic week. The apartment is older but in an amazing location with shops all around to cater for eating in if required. It's noisy but we got used to that. The check in process was easy and we were settled in comfortably on the first day. The only cons are: Kitchen is lacking in utensils. As an example there are no sharp knives other than a bread knife. The bathroom is older but does the job. Windows have a bit of a draft but it was warm inside. Overall we would return to the same apartment it was great and we had a memorable week in Paris.

Spacious, cheap, but very loud

Across the street from a police station so there are sirens all day and all night - not good for light sleepers. Also management does not respond quickly and "Ben" never answered his phone and VRBO had no contact info - so you better not need anything or you're screwed. All the furniture's IKEA and very uncomfortable - and there's no AC and the windows are screwed shut. Shower doesn't drain but there's a plunger and you can't run the washer/dryer at the same time. (I had to figure out the fuse box on my own when the apt went dark.)But it's also not expensive so you get what you pay for.

My Husband, myself and our adult daughter stayed here for a week. From the day after Christmas into the beginning of January. It was PERFECT for us! It is perfectly located just steps from the Metro station (Maubert) which made is so easy to get to everything! The area it is located in is amazing! The shops, restaurants and people are great! You are a short walk from Notre Dam. If you love being in the middle of the sights and sounds of the city, this is for you! Up to check in, the owner kept in touch with us and was so nice. The check in process was so simple. The gentleman who showed us to the apartment was nice and able to communicate everything we needed to know about the apartment. The apartment was beautiful and so comfortable. We had so much space. This isn't always the case inside the city. We fell asleep at night to the sounds of the city. We thoroughly loved our time here. We would absolutely stay here again.

Fabulous Latin Quarter Location for Extended Paris Stay

A lovely apartment with much to recommend it. If you like to be able to cook many meals for yourself and have a retreat from the bustle of Paris and sightseeing, this is a great choice. Thought there is only one bathroom, the toilet is separated from the shower and sink and so it is not as much of an inconvenience as it could have been with four people. I am a very particular traveler and the things that I would like to have or don't like may not bother you, so I present a few things for information purposes. You may not mind them at all. Foremost, there are no written instructions for anything and this was difficult as the stove top is unusual and required quite alot of work to figure out how to operate. Written instructions for that, and the heat, and the intercom/buzz-in situation would have been helpful. The person who met us gave oral instructions but frankly when I have been traveling and I arrive somewhere, I am not at my best. Then, top it off with it being later in the evening and in a foreign country and it was alot to take in and then remember the next day. Having written instructions is much preferred. The road it is on is VERY busy and there is alot of traffic and sirens wail constantly. When the windows are closed it is somewhat ok, but if you want the windows open, be prepared for a very noisy street. The good news is that that location is very close to so many things and it is very easy to get a cab, or take the metro, or even walk to lots of attractions. The building has a tiny elevator and this apartment is up one flight of stairs. So even if you send up luggage in the elevator, that is pretty good. The beds are very firm and so be prepared for that. The shower was a spiritual experience! It was very hot and had good pressure, and made up for many things that I may have liked less about the place. Overall I would recommend it, but just know ahead of time about what to expect in case these things are important to you. If you want to make sure that the place has something that you may need to bring, I would ask ahead of time so you will have all that you need and want when you are there. It is very close to amazing restaurants along the Seine, Notre Dam is literally just around the corner, and also St. Chappel, Shakespeare and company and a stop for the open top bus, and a metro stop are just all right there.

Zu empfehlen

Die Wohnung war toll und für eine vierköpfige Familie mehr als ausreichend. Es ist aber nichts für Lärmempfindliche, den Straßenlärm hört man auch gut durch die geschlossenen Fenster. Dafür wohnt man aber sehr zentral im Herzen von Paris.

Optimaler Ausgangspunkt für eine Parisbesichtigung

Geräumige Ferienwohnung, es ist slles vorhanden, was man benötigt, eine Metrostation ist in unmittelbarer Nähe und man erreicht alle Sehenswürdigkeiten in ca 1/2 Stunde. Einziges Manko: sehr laut durch den Straßenlärm ( 2 spurige Straße direkt vor dem Haus). Aufgrund der guten Lage und der Größe der Wohnung eürde ich wieder buchen.

Vor der Haustür ist man schon mittendrin.

Viele Sehenswürdigkeiten sind zu Fuss erreichbar, unzählige Cafe‘s, eine Metrostation und kleine Supermärkte fast vor der Haustür. Einziges Manko Straßenlärm ist in der Wohnung rund um die Uhr zu hören. Paris schläft nie.

Good for shorter stays

The area is great, close to the Iles, Notre Dame, the Metro, and the river. There are a lot of cute little shops and restaurants around, and, of course, everything is walkable. There are three grocery stores within view from the building. One of the reasons for renting a flat rather than a hotel is having access to a kitchen, especially with kids. I was happy with the look of the kitchen and seating provided, and the fridge was clean. However, once you open the cabinets there are not enough bowls for a family of 4. The plates were dirty, not poorly washed but unwashed at all. Same for the silverware. We ended up hand-washing everything we used before using it and setting it aside so we knew what was clean. There is a dishwasher, but it is rusty and needs maintenance for anyone to feel like it could clean dishes. It obviously has not been used in a long time, or, if it has, it does not do any type of cleaning job. The pots had buildup on them, not sure if it was just hard water, or if they were also unwashed. There was a sponge and dish soap, a 1/4 roll of paper towels, and three kitchen towels whose cleanliness was also questionable. I’m used to staying at well-stocked, or at least minimally-stocked places, and this place was neither. There was a bag of sugar, and a couple more bags of something we didn’t use or need. No food storage products or containers are provided. There was a coffee pot. The bedrooms are cute, with big Parisian windows looking into the street. There are two single beds in one room, and a full-size in the other. The host graciously let us add two more people, so we had two of the kids sleep on the couches in the living room. There are plenty of sheets. We opened the bedroom windows to let the air flow, but regretted it immediately as the lights coming from the street are very bright, and this seems to be a very busy street at night. There were people, sirens, cars and trucks blaring their noises all night (and day) long. The mattresses are fine, as are the couches, but I would not recommend a stay on the longer side. The pillows are dirty, they smell, and don’t offer any support. I think the price was fair for a place to call your home-base in the Saint Germaine district, though there are many places to improve. For me, the location is not worth the hassle of poor sleep and the extra work of cleaning and stocking the pantry ourselves, so I would not recommend to other families staying longer than a weekend’s time.
