Beautiful and spacious appartment, on the ground floor, overlooking on a quiet courtyard with lush vegetation

Beautiful appartment (58m²) spacious and luminous. One bedroom with a double bed and one sofa bed in the living room.
Rare apartment in the Marais! The bright, open, and functional home is on the ground floor of a charming 17th Century (built in 1605 AD) building. Conveniently near world class restaurants, grocery stores and shopping. The inspiring Picasso museum is three blocks away and the beautiful Place des Voges is five blocks away.

Once you arrive at the apartment, walk through the gate into a charming courtyard. No need to walk up stairs or struggle with an elevator--the ground floor location makes it easy to enter and exit the apartment. Open the door and enter a beautifully decorated and comfortable home featuring period antiques, modern conveniences and original artwork. The high ceilings and exposed beams give this wonderful apartment a historic feel!

The full-sized kitchen and large bathroom are just one step off of the main floor making this an ideal choice for mobility-challenged visitors. If you want to explore French cooking or just prepare morning coffee, the well equipped kitchen has everything you need. Check out the cosy bedroom complete with big cupboards and a queen sized bed. Plenty of closet space throughout the apartment. The living room features a cleverly designed sofa bed. The large bathroom includes a huge tub, wall-mounted shower, double sinks, clothes washer and dryer.

Impasse Saint-Claude is cloth to the metro station "Saint sébastien-froissart" et "saint paul" (ligne 1 and 8) located in le marais area near la Place des Vosges, old royal place, one of the most beautiful Parisian place. You will be in the heart of Paris. Le marais is an historic area but not only, well known for its cultural richness as well as its vibrant nightlife too. You will be close to all the touristic attractions of the city (Musée du Louvre, Notre de Dame, Musée Picasso, Place des Vosges, Place de la Bastille etc.).

A very cosy apartment in a very nice neighbourhood. The contact person from the agency was not very responsive. After the first night in the appartement, there was no hot water so we started the day with a freezing cold shower. I sent him a text, asking if he could make sure it was fixed. We never heard back from him…

The apartment is in a great location. It was quiet and large enough to accommodate 3 guests. The beds were comfortable.It would have been nice to have shampoo and bath wash, also laundry pods would have been nice.We found several dirty dishes in the kitchen and the wine opener was so cheap we could hardly open a bottle of wine. Some coffee pods to get us started would have been a nice touch. The apartment was lacking in personal touches to make us feel welcome.

Great location. Spacious apartment for 2 people, which was clean, comfortable, and pleasantly decorated. Kitchen had plenty of dishes but would have benefited from a few more tools for people who want to cook (eg, paring knife, dish towels) and few starter items such as a small number of coffee pods for the Nespresso machine and paper towels. Plenty of closet space and hangers, but no chest or dresser with drawers for clothing.

It was a perfect spot for a 4-5 day stay for two of us. The space was lovely and quiet yet close to lots of activity shops and restaurants. We loved that it was on the ground floor ( a huge plus) and the decor was lovely. Our host was extremely accommodating as we’d left a lot of clothing and he shipped it to us at our next location. We’d have liked to have a few items available to us in the apartment, like paper towels/clean dish towels/ napkins/ coffee and shampoo, but we were able to find a market nearby. I’d also suggest the host have available a note with information on market locations, metro stops, and suggestions for dining in the area. We completely loved our stay and have already recommended it to friends. We would happily return.

The apartment is so beautiful and couldn’t be more perfectly located in the Marais. The management was beyond helpful in organizing everything we needed for our stay and checked in with us often. We loved our stay and can’t wait to come back to this perfect little slice of Paris!

A lovely apartment on a quiet street.

We really enjoyed our stay in the Marais. The apartment is nicely furnished with both a comfortable bed and sleeper sofa. The bathroom has been recently renovated, and the kitchen is well equipped. The building is quiet, located on an impasse, so there is very little traffic. We really appreciated the owner’s book of suggestions and tips for both the apartment and the neighbourhood.

Weekend trip to Paris

We stayed here during our weekend trip to Paris. I was here with my three friends and this flat was perfect for us. The apartment was very cute and cozy and in the perfect location in Le Marais. There are lots of good restaurants in walking distance from the place with a grocery store around the corner. I definitely recommend staying here!
