I am writing to formally express my deep dissatisfaction
As this was my first visit to Paris, I expected a pleasant experience. However, my stay was completely ruined due to extreme noise disturbances. On my first morning, I was abruptly awakened at 8 a.m. by the unbearable sound of heavy construction work right outside the hotel. The street was entirely torn up, closed off, and filled with loud drilling and machinery. This was not an isolated incident—every morning, I was subjected to the same deafening noise.
What is most unacceptable is that the hotel failed to inform guests about this major construction project in advance. When I requested to cancel my reservation so I could move to another hotel, the staff responded dismissively, claiming they were unaware of the situation. This is simply not credible, given the scale of the ongoing work.
As a paying guest, I find it unacceptable that the hotel did not take responsibility for informing me before my arrival or offering an alternative solution once the issue became apparent. This lack of transparency and customer care is inexcusable.
