Imagine a unique situation, a few steps from Notre-Dame and close to everything, modern comfort with the charm of old Paris, and a charming and quiet street away from the crowds, walks on the banks of the Seine and a public garden 2 minutes away ... Grocery and bakery at your door.
What do you want to do today? You can go everywhere on foot: to museums like the Louvre and Musée d'Orsay, Center Pompidou and the Palais Royal. In the legendary districts: the Marais, the Latin Quarter, Jardin du Luxembourg and Saint-Germain des Prés,… place des Vosges, Tuileries Garden, Concorde and Champs Elysées. Or maybe a cruise on the Seine, they start here. Shopping? the famous department store BHV is 5 minutes away. Unless you decide this morning to walk the Flower Market or the famous Place Maubert market.
You will spend an unforgettable holiday in this 33m2 apartment on the 2nd floor (3rd for Americans) without a courtyard lift, comprising a large living room-American kitchen with very comfortable sofa bed (140cm bed, daily convertible type), an alcove bedroom with king size bed (160cm), a bathroom with walk-in shower. You will be warmly welcomed and your first breakfast is offered to you. The beds are made.

A fantastic location for visiting Paris. Any place along the Seine is ideal for a visitor, but this area offers multiple metro stations within a few blocks so we never had to transfer trains to access any of the sites we wanted to visit. Easy to walk to many sites as well as restaurants and shopping.

You will not find a better location than this site. It is 2 short blocks to the Notre Dame and a lot of the Paris must see sites are walkable. That said the site is small and it is only adequate for a couple or an individual. It is a three story walkup so include this in your evaluation. The dish washer was out of service but this was not relevant to us as we prefer to eat out. We found the price expensive but again you are paying for the location. We had some problems following the metro instructions to get to the proper metro station but that may have been our issue.

The flat is 1 block from Notre Dame Cathedral. You wake up and enjoy a coffee and croissant on your morning walk. You repeat the process for your after dinner stroll. It’s magic.Everyone wants to be on this island. There is a magnificent restaurant right across from the flat. It is a very safe area as there is a police station across the street.

It is a strategic location for visiting Paris without stress. The house is a few steps from Notre Dame, just behind it. Cross any of the bridges nearby and you can walk everywhere. Transportation is also great, RER a few steps away, right in front of Notre Dame. The two islands are very enjoyable if you want to have a pic-nic seated by the Seine, or quiet dining at the marvelous triangular Place Dauphine. We also enjoyed listening to the bells of Notre Dame in the morning. The house has all that is needed. The bed is firm and nice, the kitchen is excellent if you plan to dine in, the check-in process is accurate and stress-free. Thank you Danielle!

A GREAT DISAPPOINTMENT (AND A DECEPTION)

I had a huge problem ensuing from lack of attention and of courtesy by the host and her employee (the apartment caretaker)! They left me to solve a delicate problem by myself, without help, and then wanted to charge me extra costs.It all happened because I left the apartment forgetting one key in the keyhole from the inside (a very innocent mistake against which there was no previous advice given by the host or instruction). Noticing that the other key did not open or lock the door, I wrote to the host. The response was "For this, we need to call a professional Locksmith, this is annoying and costly". I responded saying that I was sorry, that I didn't know and that there was no instruction about that. At the end of the day, I wrote to the caretaker (a Portuguese lady to whom I wrote in Portuguese, being myself Brazilian), asking whether the problem had been solved, only to find out that I had been given a wrong phone number! I ask the host for the right number and write again. At this point it is already past 8 pm. The caretaker lady's only answer was: "No, you have to call the locksmith" and then sent me two contacts. I am Brazilian, but I speak and write French. Imagine if I were someone who could not master the language! I pleaded, driving her attention to the fact that I was with my 11 YEAR OLD SON! 9pm! I asked for any kind of help. SILENCE! I finally got a locksmith. No damage to the door that was not there before. No-one at check-in. No Air-conditioning. Abusive char

Danielle was awesome. The apartment was perfect for us. It was in the heart of the city center and easy to access all of Paris. It had all of the essentials for an amazing trip. We would definitely stay here again!

A charming apartment

We love this flat so much that this is the second time we’ve booked it. Extremely quiet and comfortable. Excellent location. Enjoyed crossing a bridge every time we wanted to visit mainland Paris.

Great location, restaurants, gelato, metro close by. Sheets had stains and bath towels were like 5 year old dish towels. Exterior was under major construction. Overall the great location outweighed the negatives.

Easy and friendly checkin, couldn't ask for a better location and the owner was very accommodating which made our visit so much better. Expect some noise from the unit above and other residents that are coming and going, but in general, a very quiet location.

Out little secret

We stayed for almost 2 weeks t thsi location. The first week was amazing as the whole isle was in a protected area. So the neighborhood was very quiet. The police station is across the street and we felt very safe the entire time. Couple of suggestions,.put a ceiling fan in the livingtoom, it would be more efficient than the small.fans. Also, you could use another set if toeels thst includes a wahcloth and hand toelrs. Other than that, unbelievable experience

Cute apartment right beside the Louvre.

The location is perfect for walking to all the great sites and restaurants. The apartment is cute and had all we needed. The old stairs and court yard give it a very authentic Paris feel. Unfortunately check in was an issue. We didn’t have all the information and had to contact the owner numerous times to gain access. The tv didn’t work for more than 5 minutes on any station.

Location was terrific. On St. Louis we found wonderful stores to buy cheese and produce. Vegetable/fruit store had wonderful prepared take away items. Kitchen well stocked with utensils. FYI there is a light switch outside front door to turn on stair light.

Can’t find a better location!

This property is in the perfect location. We walked to museums and parks in 15 minutes. We were close to the Metro and any transportation that we could have needed. The building and apartment are perfect. Loved the quiet courtyard, and friendly neighbors. So many restraints to chose from right around the corner. Thank you for everything.

The Best!

Apartment located in the center of everything. Just the right size. Great kitchen and bathroom. Very comfortable. Gorgeous courtyard building. I can’t recommend highly enough. Danielle was a wonderful host, accommodating and present. Merci Danielle! Jusqu'à la prochaine fois!

An Amazing, Memorable Vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Danielle's lovely apartment! It was our first visit to Paris & it was a convenienct location, allowing us to explore the area with ease. The famous Notre Dame is just around the corner, and there's plenty of great restaurants & shopping within walking distance. Danielle contacted us via text & was very helpful from beginning to end! We would certainly stay in her historical apartment again.

Super Appartement

Die Lage des Appartements auf der Isle de la Cité ist traumhaft - mitten in der Stadt und trotzdem ganz ruhig, man kann bei offenen Fenster schlafen. Es ist gemütlich und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, so dass wir uns gleich dort zu Hause gefühlt haben. Das Bad schick und gepflegt, Mit einer tollen Regendusche. Die kleine Küche, die gut ausgestattet ist und ein sehr bequemes Bett machten unseren Aufenthalt perfekt. Leider konnten wir nur 5 Nächte bleiben und wären sehr gerne noch länger geblieben.

Fantastic location.The apartment was clean and all the systems worked. It is a third floor walk-up as explained by the owner. However the stairs are twisty and worn with age. Not a good choice for those with mobility issues.

Clean, comfortable and convenient. Great location that makes it easy to see the sights but also feel like part of the neighborhood. The owner and staff were terrific and helpful. Wifi worked well (I did join a couple meetings via Teams) and speed was very good
