"Rubbish was found all over the floor (plastic nails, bottle of water under the dressing table, half eaten cookie), bed extremely uncomfortable, food in the restaurant salty(when sent back the tone was like I was asking for more food, rather than trying to rectify error politely), no idea how this place is 4star, would never go back. Spa just re-opened after refurb, but works still going on, debri everywhere, smell of silicone in the changing room revolting. Staff on reception and spa lovely. "

"Check in was fine. Pleasant friendly staff. Had to move rooms 3 times due to various issues. Very small bed. Poor lighting. No hot water in shower. Disappointing for a newly refurbished hotel"

"Nice small cosy room that was toasty warm. Only marked it down as the milk in the little pots was just a solid mass of gloop so could not make a drink. A note on the wall advised that milk was available downstairs in the bar, which is no good if you make a first brew after the place is closed. "

"Lovely location with beautiful views and a short drive to wonderful beaches. Food in the bar and restaurant was very underwhelming - basic bar/pub food on a par with a chain pub. Very clean thoughout, cosy bar and a relaxing atmosphere throughout. Staff - almost all lovely and helpful although some of the younger waiting staff in the restaurant were pretty miserable and going through the motions at best. Overall a lovely place to stay and the beautiful Gower."

"Clean room, very helpful attentive staff. The amenities were those expected of a b&b. Our only qualms about our stay was there was no offer of remuneration re: the boiler having broken down."

"Super nice B&B in the welsh countryside... as close to a town (Ammanford) as you would want but far enough away to be rural. Rooms (we have stayed there twice in the past month) are really rather nice, showers have plenty of hot water and the hosts, Jane and Nigel, serve a breakfast that keeps you going for the rest of the day"

"When we arrived expecting to stay in an annex as per the image on Expedia, we were instead in a room in the main house. We took this up with the proprietor who agreed to cancel with no cost. We took this at face value and stayed elsewhere. On checking our bank account on 24 Sept we saw that we had been charged. We called the property but were told we need to take this up with Expedia. Very disappointed."

"Very clean, nicely presented. Everything we needed including washer for messy children. Lots of space, good that there is shower room upstairs and bathroom downstairs, as a family of five. Location was excellent for family celebration, also so convenient for supermarkets. Thank you. "

"Lovely old fashioned quality hotel"

"This is a very well presented, clean, comfortable and roomy property. Comfy bed, good size TV and great shower too. Big supermarkets are only about 1.5 miles away and a restaurant very close by. Parking is right outside. The host had put the heating and lights on for my arrival which was great. Also a selection of tea and coffee was available too. Would recommend."

"5 b - Top floor and lovely view over Mumbles/Swansea Bay. The room is very spacious - living room facilities, small kitchenette area (fridge and kettle, simple breakfast items of yoghurt, cereal, juice and welsh cakes, fresh milk and tea and coffee included), huge comfy bed, lovely bathroom and shower. All very clean. 4th stay at this property. "

"Tuve una muy grata estadía. El lugar es tal como se describe. Las habitaciones son cómodas y espaciosas con una vista muy linda hacia la playa. Además hay una pequeña cocina con todo lo necesario lo cual se agradece mucho. Destaco además la amabilidad y simpatía del encargado, que estuvo siempre muy atento a cualquier necesidad. El único detalle es que en la noche es muy ruidoso ya que pasa una carretera con mucho flujo vehicular y eso afecta un poco el descanso, pero el resto, todo bien."

"Beautiful location. Straightforward to locate and ample parking, which was great. Warm welcome and easy check-in. Room was very hot (radiators work well!); helpful assistance provided to turn radiators off. Room was clean, bed was very comfortable. Unfortunately power outage (while I was asleep) meant TV turned itself on in the night! Lovely to have tea, coffee and a small biscuit. Would have been wonderful if there were a bottle of water, though this was offered on check out fire the drive...

"The apartment was ok. Bedside table broken, bin lid wouldn’t shut. Hairs in bedroom and bathroom Floor dusty, needed a good clean! The worst thing was the noise from the surrounding bars and cafes, booming music all day and most of the evening, couldn’t relax or sit outside "
