"We stayed there for Eight days. It was great experience with old world charm and modern amenities. Rooms were very clean; Staff was very friendly and polite. Specially the "Verandah" staff was very attentive, and Breakfast and dinner was great with ever changing menus. It is unfair to mention few names as a complement because it is injustice done for others who served us with great care and friendliness. As a whole our stay was memorable. "The property looks lovely in reception. Staff were welcoming on arrival but not so during our stay. Our room was clean but needs maintenance. Toilet leaked water along bathroom floor and curtains not hooked up properly so were too difficult to close. There is a Do Not Disrurb switch in amongst the light switches, unmarked, and ours was accidentally turned on so our room was not cleaned. No compendium in the room so we were unaware of the switch. Housekeeping did come up at 8pm after I called...

"What I liked the most was the view from room. The hotel needs a good renovation. Loved the decore in the room. Needs to be more generous with the towels etc. always some towel is missing. As for the food it was good but all the sambals need attention. The chefs need to learn how to make a good lunumiris, seen sambal etc. Wattalappan fantastic. Oat porridge not ok. Fruit selection ok but no mango. How about some original sinhalese sweets. Kevun, thalaguli, arsmi, kokis kaludodol?"

"Beautiful modern hotel right along the shore. We loved our bath overlooking the city. The rooftop bar, restaurant, and two pools (one with a jacuzzi) were perfect for relaxing after sightseeing in the city. The Japanese-themed restaurant was also excellent. They even have a mini café by the reception, which is a great option if you don’t want a full breakfast. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Many thanks again! "

"Perfect. A hidden gem in Negombo 25 easy minutes from the Colombo International Airport. The room was spotless and spacious. The pool was sparkling clean, relaxing and warm with plenty of exotic birds including parrots flying around. The food choices were numerous and tasty.
