A tarantula peeking from its burrow on one of the many hikes we went on, we must have walked past this hole around 40-50 times over a month before we got a glimpse of it.
The map location is rough, but I saw this kitten walking around one of the locals' houses when I was weaving a bamboo basket
Known to the volunteers as 'The Basket Weaver', this man was extremely skilled in weaving baskets out of bamboo which all new volunteers could have a go at, mine actually turned out pretty well!

This is our second stay at jungle guesthouse. Da (the owner) is so kind and welcoming and she makes the best food on the entire Mae Hong son loop. Rooms are lovely, garden has many fruit trees. Highly recommended!

Uden tvivl, en af de bedste oplevelser nogensinde!
Vi overnattede kun 1 en enkelt nat for at se Tham lod Cave. Værterne er SÅ søde, omgivelserne er fantastiske og det lille hus er helt nyt. Derudover laver hun mad på bestilling, det var også fantastisk 🙏 Vi tog på tur med hendes mand som privat guide i grotten, det var over al forventning!! Vi gik ...

Great room, spotless and the pool area very relaxed. It’s right beside the night markets and lake and from there the City is very walkable. The staff are great and Khun Sujanya was extremely helpful and friendly.

Hotel is a little run down. Our room smelt like septic the whole time from the bathroom. They should offer more drive times and oickups from the town of pai. The staff was very nice tho!
