Ready to escape reality and kick back on the sugary white sandy beaches of the Forgotten Coast? Cabana del Sol is the serenity you have been looking for! This immaculate gulf front home is spacious with soaring ceilings and tons of natural light. Enjoy hours of relaxation on the oversized balcony or hang out in the shade and enjoy the breeze on the porch below the home. Cabana del Sol has the perfect indoor and outdoor space for a memorable and fun vacation!

Nightly Minimum: 3-7 night minimum

Property Description:
As you enter the home, you are greeted with amazing views of the GULF OF MEXICO in the open concept kitchen, dining, and living room. From the coastal vibes to the unique character of Cabana del Sol, this home has the perfect floor plan and offers plenty of room for everyone! The fully stocked kitchen offers granite countertops, modern stainless steel appliances, and seating for 4 at the breakfast bar. The large living area offers so much charm with soaring pine ceilings, wall-to-wall windows and gives you plenty of space to spread out on the large sectional sofa and 2 additional sitting chairs. The split bedroom concept offers 2 bedrooms both with ensuite baths and private screened in balconies. The master bedroom has a queen bed, the ensuite bath has a custom tile shower and double vanity. The guest bedroom offers a queen and twin bed and ensuite bath with a shower tub combo and a single vanity.

Outdoor Amenities: Covered carport, gas grill, balcony, screened in porch, boardwalk to the beach.

Parking: Four parking spots are guaranteed. Boat parking is available in the driveway.

Pet Friendly: This property is not pet-friendly and is an animal free zone due to severe allergies. If you bring a pet to this home, an automatic charge of $500 will be imposed and/or you will be asked to vacate the home immediately.

Linens/Supplies: All bed and bath linens are supplied as well as all cookware/dinnerware/glassware in the kitchen. A few essential items are provided upon arrival: Dawn dishwashing soap, one sponge, two dishwasher pods, one garbage bag, one roll of paper towels, one roll of toilet tissue per bathroom, two individual/small bars of soap per bathroom, one laundry powder and one fabric softener.

Area Information: Need a break from the beach? Set out on a venture to discover the local shopping, galleries, entertainment, and restaurants. In 15 minutes you can be in downtown Port St. Joe. Visit the historic lighthouses and museums. Venture a little further to Cape San Blas and ride horseback on the beach or take a trip over to St. Vincent Island for the day. St Joseph Bay offers some of the best inshore fishing in Florida, book a charter and bring in the fish tale of the day. About 30 minutes away you can visit the historic fishing community of Apalachicola. It's perfect for a day trip to do a little shopping, stroll along the Apalachicola River or grab some of the best seafood around! You won't be disappointed! There are so many options to do without crowds or traffic!

Beach Gear: Some of our properties have beach gear onsite (chairs, umbrellas, toys, etc.); however, there is no guarantee as these items come and go throughout the year.

Age Requirement: Minimum age limit to rent this home is 25 years old.

Security cameras: N/A

Credit card fee: All payments processed are subject to a 3.25% credit card processing fee.

Rental Agreement: A signed Rental Agreement is required upon booking.

Cancellation Policy: We strongly encourage our guests to purchase the optional travel insurance to protect your vacation investment. All reservations include an administrative fee of $35 (plus taxes) upon booking which is non-refundable in the event of a reservation cancellation. Credit cards processing fees will be charged upon cancellation which is equal to 3.25% of all payments made.

Reservations canceled at least 60 days before check-in date will receive a 100% refund, minus cancellation fees. Reservations canceled between 30 to 60 days before check-in date will receive a 50% refund, minus cancellation fees. Reservations canceled less than 30 days before check-in date will result in forfeiture of the full advance rental payments and any other payments.

Area construction disclaimer: Our beautiful area has been under reconstruction since Hurricane Michael in 2018. We have come a long way since then, but there is still a considerable amount of new construction going on in the area. While we strive to give you an accurate representation in our photos, we cannot guarantee that new construction near your rental hasn't begun since our photos were taken.

Perfect little beach home

We had a great time at this location. It was perfect for a family of 4. It was semi-secluded and right next to the beach. My only recommendation would be to upgrade the master bed to a queen or king bed. I think it was a full, and although we managed, a larger bed would’ve made it perfect.

Wonderful House

The house was beautiful and clean. The kitchen was amazing. The bathrooms were also incredible. The only issue that we had was the AC just could not keep up during the day. But luckily we were not in the house during the dayand it cooled off during the night. So overall everything was wonderful. nighr.

Perfect Summer Getaway

Our family of three thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cabana del Sol. It's a quick drive onto Cape San Blas and into Port St. Joe. We appreciated the amenities provided at the house - beach towels, beach chairs, and more household supplies than we're used to for beach rentals. We'll definitely be back!

Very disappointing

First the house was good clean and convenient, in need of alot of updating and maintenance We were with out hot water for three days two nights due to bad breaker The photographs in the advertisement give the impression thatthe water at the beach is beautiful and clear, IT IS NOT IT LOOKS LIKE CHOCOLATE MILK! And while talking to local law enforcement while recieving a 100.dollar citation for leaving our beach shade 1 hr bast sunset we learned that the beach here is almost never clear. The deck is in bad shape and the bite flies are very bad Take bug spray As for my family we are back to mexico beachwhere we have had great vacations for more than 30 years

Highly Recommended

First, the pictures of the house do not do it justice. I suggest some better marketing of the pictures. While the home has some nice upgrades and needs more, it is hard to find a house for three people. This house was the perfect size, and the location is perfect. The beach is 100 yards from the house, and we had our own private beach for the week. We struggle upon arrival as the code they gave us did not work. We called (and texted as directed) the managing company but did not here back for about an hour. This was a tough start as we had to just sit in our car waiting for a call or text. Furthermore, we would have thought that someone would have checked on us throughout the week. While the air conditioner worked well in the main room, the two bedrooms would not cool as we liked them. We did find some fans which was helpful. This needs to be looked at. We will come back as we love this location. Thank you.

Getaway!!

My husband and I enjoyed our gateway so much. The house is beautiful and we loved the location. I do have a few suggestions. I would have loved to have had a King size bed in the master. My husband did sleep on the couch a couple of nights, just because it was a little more comfortable. I would also suggest maybe updating some of the kitchen cookware. Other than that I would highly recommend and stay again. Thanks again!

The Best

The house is perfect for two couples. Two bedrooms and baths separated by a large living area. The beach is literally right out the door! And it has never been crowded since there are only homes - no condos or hotels. Quiet, peaceful, beautiful. Don’t know how it could be better!

Great property. Peaceful & Beautiful

We had a great time staying at this house. It was bright and airy and well maintained with plenty of room for our family of four. The neighborhood was quiet and friendly. We also loved all the beach toys, umbrella and chairs that were available. Our only concern was with the bugs, and I know this is difficult to avoid in the South this time of year, but we couldn't really sit on the deck after 4pm without getting eaten alive. We used several citronella candles and lots of bug spray and still got bitten, a lot. This is a great property, but bring your bug spray and candles if you'd like to enjoy the beautiful ocean views!

If you like your privacy, this is it!

In this time where houses are being built 20 feet from each other, privacy is hard to find. This one was perfect! It has large palm trees on each side of the decks giving you great privacy! The house has been maintained very well! We loved it and hope to return next year.

Peace in Paradise

We had a wonderful time and the accommodations were excellent. Great for a little getaway and a time for rest. Make sure you go eat at The Raw Bar & get the crab legs! This was our 2nd year in a row and we will be back next year.

Great Spring Trip - Late April

Awesome property for two couples. The beach was wonderful with space to spread out. The property was clean and spacious for my family of 4 adults and 1 infant. It was a 5-star trip.
