The host was perfectly fine & helpfully when you need something, but Tidewater condominiums is terrible. You can’t have a drink within 4 feet of the pools- not even a water- even though there’s literally a bar by the pools- their “security” people will come out and get onto you if you do, or threaten to kick you out if you’re warned more than once, (didn’t happen to us, but we saw it happen to others lots of times). Some kids were also throwing a pool ball around (as they should because they’re kids on vacation) & they got in trouble for that. There’s about 5 rows deep of beach rental chairs, (which only about half of them are taken by anyone), & they take up as much space as the condominium is wide- can’t sit in front of them with any sort of umbrella or camping chair, so you have to walk FOREVER away to find a spot for your family. There are also banana boat & jet ski rentals right next to all of the rental chairs, so that takes up a lot of room as well. The ramp to the beach is a narrow zigzag, so it’s almost impossible to get through with all of your stuff when anyone else is coming the opposite way.The elevators are awful, even when someone runs one of them. They were painting the parking deck while we were there, so lots of spots were blocked off.We will never stay here again because it didn’t feel like a relaxing beach vacation- it felt like a hassle for everything. However, 4 Star Condos were great.
