Gave it a 3 star because the host seemed to be offsite, still reachable but somethings they may not become aware of until this review. I am not one to complain about a bunch of small things that we can work around so somethings I didn’t immediately contact the host about. Upon arrival at 4pm the house cleaner was still cleaning(things happen no worries). Entire house smelled unbearably like septic inside and out, communicated that with host,he had a company come pump it immediately.The dishes beside the stove had a moldy nasty liquid in them like they were just shoved in a cabinet. The upstairs isn’t depicted in the description that if you are over 4ft tall you can only stand up in the center of the loft areas. We made it work but should mention in case adults were planning to utilize that upstairs bed like we were. The railing leading to the upstairs area is very loose, some rotting pieces could use addressing (especially if that area is where the kids are staying, it’s labeled kids place above the door). All the vents collect condensation and in the far room the ceiling has water damage from that. There are two bathrooms downstairs and a half upstairs.We only utilized the one bathroom until the end of our trip when we realized the other bathroom is completely covered in black mold. We had a baby feet away from this sleeping in that room. There is also mold on the ceiling in the shower.Had we known we probably would have left instead of exposing ourselves to that all week.
