Calypso Resort 401E is an attractive three-bedroom vacation rental on the fourth floor of the exclusive Calypso Resort & Towers in Panama City Beach, Florida. As soon as you enter the main open living area you are greeted by the views of the beautiful sparkling Gulf of Mexico, jewel-toned waters and white powdered sands of the beach. Subsequently the unit is framed with windows and sliding glass doors throughout that lead to the extra-large beachfront balcony; a special feature to enjoy some alone time or to entertain guests and family. Calypso 401E is a large corner beachfront condo gracefully decorated in hues of soft green accentuating the spacious floor plan of this 3 bedroom 3 bath unit.

Calypso 401E is equipped with all the modern amenities- high speed internet/ WiFi, flat screen TV's in living area and all 3 bedrooms, fully stocked kitchen with all the essentials, bed and bathroom linens; and a private balcony illuminating the breath-taking views from both the master suite and main living area. The total square footage for this unit is 1,582 sq ft.
The living area is spacious with custom furnishings, as well as providing modern amenities like a flat screen TV, DVD player and high speed internet/ WiFi. The sofa can be converted to a queen/full size pullout for extra guests. Adjacent to the living area is a perfect size, bar height, formal dining table.
The kitchen is equipped with granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances. The large bar counter is a perfect size for breakfast, afternoon snacks or cocktail hour. The cabinets are stocked with cups, plates, utensils, dinnerware, cooking pots and pans.

The master suite is complete with a king size bed, flat screen TV, dresser, and en suite bath. Designed for relaxation, the en suite is equipped with double vanity sinks, granite countertops, garden tub and full stand up shower.
The 1st guest bedroom within this exclusive condo unit is dawned in a peaceful whisper of color with a queen size bed, dresser, flat screen TV. Attached is a private bath with stand up shower. This is a perfect arrangement for children, teens, or any additional guests who may be traveling with you.
The 2nd guest bedroom is spacious and furnished with two twin size beds, dresser, flat screen TV. Attached is a guest bath room with full size tub and shower with private access along with access from the main hallway. This is a picture-perfect arrangement for children, teens, or any additional guests who may be traveling with you.

Perfect location. Easy beach access. Within walking distance to so many things. Easy access to condo from parking garage. Elevators function well/not slow.

Delayed Communication and Cancelled reservation

The actual condo was everything the pictures showed and being on the 4th floor was so wonderful! The communication with the owner was not good. It was extremely hard to get a hold of someone. We were told that they could open up our parking pass one hour before check in time. We were traveling with a huge baseball team and everyone else was able to get in at 12pm to use the pool and parking garage even though the room wouldn't be available until 4pm. When we pull up to the parking garage, I check my email and the owner had cancelled our stay. It took almost an hour for them to rebook us and blamed it on a computer glitch. We were still not able to get into the parking garage. The lady would tell us that she had to call us back multiple times and would never call us back. Again, the condo was nice but communication with the owner was bad.

Spring Break

The condo is fine! I had no issues with the condo. There weren’t any reviews which made us nervous first but it was just as listed. Being on the 4th floor was so nice! Our issue was parking passes and getting in contact with the property manager. We were told to just share a parking pass when we got ahold of an answering service but that’s a big no-no at calypso.I’ve stayed there before I knew this would be an issue. Our parking pass that we were sent (we needed 2) had the wrong owner contact info on it. When we finally got ahold of the rental they sent 2 passes that didn’t work and we had to keep calling to get it settled. It just seemed very chaotic and unorganized. There was a shooting across the street at pier park- which I know the owners have no control over HOWEVER this is not area we will come back to for spring break in the future.
