DETAILS: This Barefoot Blue Cottage (formally Villa Cayman) is a professionally decorated, 4-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom home boasting an open-concept layout and coastal, contemporary decor. It's located in Inlet Beach, just a short walk from the upscale boutiques and restaurants at Rosemary Beach and 30Avenue. The home has access to its own pool for those who prefer to sunbathe on vacation.

As you enter the home, you'll find a cheerful living area and kitchen complete with gourmet appliances, comfortable furniture, colorful backsplash, and a fireplace. The kitchen is fully equipped to prepare meals and features bar seating for 8. Access to the pool and outdoor entertaining space is just outside the French doors, bringing in plenty of natural light.

Upstairs, you'll find a balcony that overlooks Winston Lane and includes an additional seating area. There are also 2 guest rooms down the hall (both king suites) and a bunk room. Bright pops of color and artwork are seen throughout the bedrooms, with their own bathrooms and flat-screen TVs. The bunk room features 2 twin-over-twin bunk beds and a flat-screen TV. The third floor contains a primary suite featuring a king bed, flat-screen TV, and en-suite bathroom. The balcony in the bedroom is the perfect place to sip coffee in the morning.

Guests will love the privacy and amenities featured with this cottage! 4 adult bikes are included, making it even easier to get to the beach or cruise around 30A. Don't miss your chance to stay at this vibrant home!

Needed early check in and late check out. That process was only allowed to be request 24 hours in advance of check in and check out. Communication was terrible. I do not enjoy having to speak to new people everything I had a question. Once we finally received the early check in, I still had to call to receive the early check in code multiple times. The house was barely clean. There was dust, leftover items hidden in cupboards from previous stays, and two fire alarms were beeping we had to unplug. The half bathroom on the first level did not work our entire stay. There were bugs in the house that looked like roaches. Then with late check out, the property manager did not communicate that to the maintenance man and the cleaning staff and both showed up separately and intruded on our time. The house was beautiful but we ran out of toilet paper and paper towel and had to purchase our own. There were not enough garage bags or dishwasher pods and we only had 8 people staying.

Great Place

We had a positive experience renting this property. The house was clean, neat, and well-stocked with a surplus of dishes and serving ware, making it convenient for group meals. Although we encountered a few minor issues, they were promptly addressed by the management team, which we really appreciated. One note for those renting in the off-season: if you’d like the pool heated, be sure to notify the rental company ahead of time, as this isn’t automatically included during that period. It takes about 48 hours for the pool to reach 83 degrees. Overall, we would recommend this rental for a comfortable and well-equipped stay in a wonderful location.

Loved it!

We really enjoyed our stay and thought the house was in a perfect location! Just a few minute walk to town and the public beach. The place itself was very clean and the beds were comfortable too! Would definitely recommend staying here.

Great location and house for young families!

Overall the house was great for young kids. It was nice having a pool and easy access to the beach. It was a quick walk to town for ice cream.

Not as expected and dirty

Upon arriving you have to walk through inches of pollen in the courtyard and throughout the pool deck. The pool deck is covered in pollen, the pool had buckets of sand in it and heater was not on or working when requested and pre paid for. There are oak trees that cover the entire outdoor area. We live in FL and understand oak trees but no one I know would ever put one foot steps from pool and 4 ft from the house. Outdoor furniture was old and dirty, also covered in pollen. Once we got in the house the we noticed quickly the floors had not been swept, mopped or carpet vacuumed. The bottom of our feet were black from how dirty the floors were. The indoor furniture was dirty. There were stains throughout all of the carpeting on the second floor. This vacation was not what I was expecting after spending thousands of dollars. I went with a luxury management company to NOT deal with this. It’s very upsetting to spend so much money and have to deal with this. I just hope the homeowners know that the property is poorly managed and it’s sad because it is a beautiful place.

Ideal spot for family vacation

My sister and I took our families for Christmas break and had a wonderful week. The house is gorgeous, and the location is ideal. 5 minute walk to the beach and 10 minute walk to town.

Prettier than the listing

This property was actually more beautiful than the pictures listed. We were 5 sisters celebrating my mom turning 60. We were very comfortable and loved the quick walk to the beach, restaurants and little shops. This was our first experience at Rosemary Beach and we plan to return.

The house was amazing! The living space was cozy and the beds were the most comfortable ever!! The pool was a great amentity and we enjoyed our stay! The home is beautiful and so convenient to everything!!!!!

Best family vacation ever!

Our entire party of 10 concurred that this was the best family vacation ever! Location was perfect, right off E. County 30A, a straight shot from house only 0.25 to public beach access. Rosemary Beach shops right around the corner, Alys Beach just a little further. 30A Avenue shops also within walking distance, around 0.5 if that. House was pristine, very well stocked. Ground floor redecorated, just beautiful. I’m picky about beds but all were very comfortable in my opinion (most or all seemed to be tempurpedic or memory foam). The bunk room is really just as pictured—almost like a large closet with no door. A sliding farmhouse door would be great for a little privacy and shield from early morning noise in the kitchen below. There is an outdoor shower that I didn’t see listed in the description that is really convenient when you come back from the beach. It’s at the back of the house on the left just past the side garage and also where the three bikes are. We were a little confused when we were first thing to find the place. I didn’t realize that the front view pictured in description was a separate carriage house that I guess is rented out separately. There are signs however that we apparently missed on either side of the front garage that say Cayman. When you park and unload, go around to the left of the house and in through the pool gate. The door code entry is really annoying at first but once you get it down, is fine. It’s a safety feature but would have been nice to have an option to maybe sign a waiver and use the alarm code optionally instead of mandatory every time you go in and out of house. Loved having the pool to come back to after w few hours of sun and sand at the beach. The water temp was cooler than the ocean, very refreshing, doesn’t get a lot of sunlight mid afternoon but that was fine with us. Used the grill a couple times. It’s natural gas though, not propane, so if you want to do a low country boil, you’ll need to bring your own or buy a propane tank. Our property contact Penelope was so attentive, available and helpful. We reported the only two issues we noticed which were minor: very low water pressure in kitchen, 3rd floor master bath w slow shower drain. We hope to stay here again next summer! Beat vacation ever!
