A peaceful escape

Loved the house and location. It was peaceful, quiet, the house was clean and we all enjoyed spending time outside on the dock. Would most definitely rent again!

Special Birthday Gathering

The property was clean and tidy. The kitchen was well stocked. Very comfortable seating, beds and plenty towels. We enjoyed the beach area. Low tide was fun for the seven year old to explore the beach. We used the dock for launching a kayak and fishing. We enjoyed a delicious dinner at Trident for my 70th birthday dinner. The house was perfect for us.

The house flowed well, bedrooms were good and plenty of space for 2 adults, a 12 and 15 year-old. The grill has about a foot of space between coals and grill top. So build coals really high or allow for longer cook time. Fine for a wood fire. Heavy tray at the bottom to remove ashes. We rented this place to bring my 22ft center console and park it at the dock. However, when I inquired about the water level at low tide, the management company couldn't give me an answer and was left with rent or not rent. Had my answer once I paid (non refundable) and owner replied to my question immediately with I would not leave your boat at low tide. Never communicated with management company only the owners. For boaters...a 18ft or less boat with a flat bottom would probably be ok. There is a shallow water/sandbar in front of the dock that extends 3 feet out at a minimum. I took my boat in there 2.5 hrs after low tide. Middle of canal was 2.5 to 3 feet of depth. Less than a foot right next to the floating dock. High tide is fine and it's the canal after Mashes Sands boat ramp, which is a plus. Second house on left on the left after coming in. There are some live TV channels, but bring your log ins for streaming if you want to view more. Sufficient kitchen set up and tools. No issues with the house.
