"We were a group of 15 family and friends visiting the Abruzzo region and Villa Carlucci was just perfect. We cooked as a group almost every night and the long table in the kitchen was perfect for all of us to gather around. Dr. Carlucci was wonderful - very easy to communicate with and helpful with suggestions for restaurants and areas to explore. The Villa and grounds were beautiful and very well kept and we loved our stay! Highly recommend!"

"Es war einfach traumhaft, die Wohnung, die Aussicht, die Ruhe, der Pool, die Gastgeber….Die Casa della Zia liegt sehr abgelegen, aber es gibt einen kleinen Lebensmittelladen in der Nähe mit allem, was man braucht. Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen, vor allen Dingen die Abende auf der Terrasse. Wenn wir nochmal in die Abruzzen fahren, dann auf jeden Fall zu Peter und Julie."

Our family and friends live in Pennadomo a mountain town just 25 minutes away so this was a good location with plenty of conveniences not far away. The big plus was our hosts, Lynda and Rob. The village itself is very quiet with just a few facilities - bar, small food store, pharmacy - but only a 15min drive to the large town of Sulmona which has all you need and a great market on Wednesday and Saturdays. "We had a fabulous 2 weeks at the villa. We enjoyed lazy days by the pool during the hot daytimes. The Villa is well situated for visiting typical Abruzzo villages and the Trabocchi coast. "Wir waren eine größere Gruppe von Wanderbegeisterten und wollten den Parco Nazionale della Majella erkunden. Dafür war dieses sehr geräumige Ferienhaus ideal. Eine große und gut ausgestattete Wohnküche, zwei Wohnzimmer, eine schöne Terrasse sowie die vier Badezimmer haben dafür gesorgt, dass wir selbst zu neunt noch bequem im Haus unterkommen konnten.
