Beautiful home and a great location! New boat lift was a pleasant surprise as we brought our boat to spend the weekend on the water. Home is fully stocked with everything you need. The pool is great to enjoy with stunning views of the bay. Check in and check out was simple. We will definitely be back!

House with promising views, owner with unfulfilling promises

We took this trip in memory of a friend gone too soon. The house is as previous reviews listed, a good home, decent location, and a gorgeous view from the pool area. Im guessing many of those reviews didn’t include needing to contact the owner. Our problems started when arriving and being unable to get into the home by code, as the dead bolt was locked. The number listed through check in, didn’t answer & was later told it was a wrong number. We were able to enter the house through the garage. Upon entering, the house was in the same condition the previous tenants left it. The beds were stripped, the dirty laundry was piled in the kitchen, both dishwashers were filled with dirty dishes. No sign of any cleaning being done. We found an additional number once inside the home. The owner was not helpful to us, until I sent photos of the situation. He did then call me back. The cleaners came in the morning, did a good job, The owner came & asked what he could do to make it right. He very quickly agreed without hesitation to the suggestion. After arriving home, the owner was not taking or returning my calls. I spent many hours into days on the phone, & sending proof in emails to Evolve, the host company, of the disappointing conditions we encountered. Despite the great views, I will not be returning to this house. The owner flat out lied to us about how he was going to fix the situation of our negative experience. Through Evolve we were able to get 50% of his offer refunded.

Pros: Location of the house off the river was great. Dock and boat lifts appeared new and worked great. Great view of the canal. Neighborhood appeared to be very safe. Cons: ants on countertop in bathroom. Roaches were found in kitchen. Dock outlets and lights did not work. Beds weren’t made with top sheets. Dated and worn furniture throughout. Property manager (Kevin) was less than helpful. When asked about how to turn on the dock lights, “on / off switch” was the direction…

House is a great stay for a FL vacation. Kitchen is amazing, and plenty of toys for the pool or having fun on the Manatee River

Nice place

We loved the large kitchen and big table which was why we chose this place. We were coming to FL to visit our family and had a nice dinner and game night with room for all 11 of us at the table. The paddle boards and kayaks were great. We loved using those. Only thing we wished was that the fishing poles were in working condition as that was another reason we chose this place. But over all it was really great. We would stay there again.

Great house with an amazing view

Overall the house was great. The beds were surprisingly comfortable and the house had everything we needed, but the best part was the amazing view looking over the water. The pool was great as well, really loved the house.

Perfect waterfront property!

Perfect waterfront property with endless activities to enjoy the water. The pool was refreshing and the views of the water are amazing, definitely recommended for all!

Lovely Home and Grounds

The home is very comfortable. The air conditioning keeps the house cool and the king bed is very comfortable (there were only two of us). The kitchen is huge and has everything you need. The pool is large and the docks were great for fishing. There are lots of fish there. I used live shrimp and just dropped the line by the dock; no casting necessary. I caught several grey snappers and a yellow tail . I also had my line busted once and cut once by some large fish. Suggest using steel leaders. You can also catch all the catfish you want by casting and staying close to the bottom using a float. If you use a sinker you will hit bottom and collect a whole lot of moss. We look forward to staying here again.

Amazing in Palmetto

This house and it’s location was a dream! The kitchen had two sinks, two dishwashers and almost two of everything else with a drop dead water view. The dock left us speechless with how big it was. It had multiple parts and the lower level made it easy to drop the kayaks in with my teens. The kayaks are provided and you just have to get them from the garage to the dock which was easy with the fence gate. We even saw dolphins! The pool was gorgeous and changed colors at night. They even had solar powered adorable/cool lawn lights at night. It was easy to get to great restaurants and Instacart delivered our groceries including adult beverages right to the front door. Easy to get to Sarasota. The couch was perfect and cozy. Linens/Bedding/Towels were very nice. It was a short 4 night, 3 day day stay for a college tour and my kids didn’t want to leave. The owners were super helpful and the instruction book was great. When we did my daughter put her hand on the front door and said, “Goodbye beautiful house!”

Beautiful setting!

This home is a Beautiful gem hidden in a nice neighborhood. Easy access to main roads and convenience. Kitchen is designed for the home cooker and the pool is a plus in this Florida heat. State of the art deck with plenty of space for fishing.

Best place we have stayed at!

Plenty of room for the 8 of us. The backyard view was beautiful and we got to see dolphins! The pool was amazing and everyone in the family enjoyed it. Definitely would be a place we would go back to.

Needs some Love and Attention

Opportunities -Beds need replaced, as not comfortable in both main rooms -Pool heater only worked 2 nights of the 6 nights we stayed -toilet paper and trash bags were not supplied -sprinklers ran every evening -kitchen supplies were limited and hard to find (not organized) ex: no tin foil, no good usable spices, -t.v.s were very hard to get to work -outdoor furniture and interior couch needs replaced Positives -beautiful location -beautiful pool -great dock -owners were responsive with communication -lots of amenities

Lovely property!

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home! The location is fantastic and the view is spectacular. We enjoyed taking the kayaks out, exploring the neighborhood and observing local wildlife. A rare find!

Dolphin cove

Everything and more. Very pleasant stay, wish itcould have been longer. Breakfast on dock in morning with several dolphins swimming back and forth, jumping out of the water next to us. Enough said!

Great property and location!

Everything was exactly as advertised and the property was great! The dock was awesome for our boats and we all enjoyed our stay very much. The owner stopped by for a few minutes, she was very friendly and made us feel very welcomed. Great rental, we would definitely like to rent it again!

Outstanding view. Dock was well designed and could accommodate large and small boats. Covered fish cleaning station - a real luxury House could sleep 6 kids in bunk beds and 4 adults in two bedrooms

Great Fishing spot

The cleaning lady was very nice and the home was pleasant. If you want Pina Colladas bring your blender as the one there had no jar. If you love an extremely soft bed then you will be happy, if you have a bad back you're probably better off on the couch. The pier and fish cleaning station is awesome, caught a lot of catfish and something really big that took our pole.
